Merged All things Trump + Russia

As far as you know. I'm amazed when people think they know everything investigators are finding in an investigation.

That said, collusion has been somewhat eclipsed by the consistent pattern of lying when asked about Russia. So many people could have said, "Yes, I spoke with the Russian ambassador" but instead they evaded or outright lied, depending on the person.

"Your side." That says so much.

Spoke with the Russian ambassador, you think thats what this is about? The crazy left thinks Trump and Putin stole the election from a moron named Hillary Clinton.

Hare-brained.

I'm really curious why you believe this. What exactly do you think would get in the way?

Other people in government? Is that really so difficult to see?

Mind you, I don't believe Trump simply does Putin's bidding, unless it suits Trump as well. But it's trivially easy to manipulate someone long-distance.

Lol
You don't think all countries try to manipulate each other? How is that difficult to see?

Surely, I agree that we don't remove presidents from office according to reports from unnamed sources.

But I'm a bit confused about your notion of "fake news" now. Is news "fake" if it isn't sufficient to remove a president from office?

Do you accept information from articles which are "fake news"?

It's always fun to read the latest scuttlebutt. But unnamed sources is just rumour.

Let's remember that Trump invited our adversary. Russia, to interfere in our election.

.
Do you even realize how many times the right has laughed at your side over that? It was a freakin joke and your side continues to look at it as something serious. You can't make this stuff up!

Flynn committed a crime by accepting payment from Russia while retired.
His crime was not reporting it. Its a process crime and ridiculous.
Carter Page handed documents to and communicated with Russian agents.
Oh my! Do you see how ridiculous that sounds. Do you even wonder what the documents were?
Paul Manafort acted as an agent of Pro-Russian Ukrainians.
Really, did you get a look at his secret decoder ring?
Trump then tells the Russians that his firing of Comey reduced the pressure on him from the Russia investigation.

Because it is a bogus investigation?

Doesn't take a genius to see that something is up.

Lol
Yeah it sure doesn't!

I've cited several times a very much named source: the Chief of the NSA, who has said there is "damning" evidence via SIGINT proving Trump and associates colluded with Russia. Further, Mike Farb (unhackthevote.com) has done extensive work collecting direct testimony from elections personnel in the field showing misbehaving EVM/EVCMs and statistical analysis showing unnatural voting patterns in key districts and states.

But would impeaching (or removing him through different means) be good for America?

In Trump's case, yes! He is not an experienced politician, which is clearly evident by the turmoil and chaos that is rampant in the White House and he is alienating the US from its allies and has invited an adversary to interfere in our election process and making himself a laughingstock in the eyes of the world. I see Nixon reincarnated in Trump to a certain extent.

My side??? Remember, I am a Republican who had the common sense not vote for a person (Trump) who is clearly unfit to be president of the United States and the fact that the majority of voters did not vote for Trump and has the lowest approval ratings of any new president in recent memory proves my case. Trump has proven to be a chronic liar who managed to dupe his followers and his attention span is as long as it takes a normal person to blink an eye.

You mean the ex NSA agent, that one?

Yes, keep in mind what has always been obvious!

Goodness, son, let's see if that's true. You say that articles with unnamed sources are just rumors (and, apparently "rumor" is synonymous with "fake news"). But here in this very thread, here's how you refer to one such.

Fake news!

Here another reason why this Russia collusion is so ridiculous. Obama did it too.
https://www.bloomberg.com/view/articles/2014-12-31/inside-obamas-secret-outreach-to-russia

See that? Obama did it. Not that it was rumored that he did it, but he did. On the basis of an article that (had you a smidgen of consistency) you would call "fake news".

Ridiculous.

Really, did you get a look at his [Manafort's] secret decoder ring?
There's a whole bunch of evidence calling Manafort's actions into question, no secret decoder ring needed.

Maybe you can explain why Trump and Manafort engineered the change to the GOP platform that was favorable to Russia concerning Ukraine -- the only platform change that Trump made. Both of them flat out lied about it, expecting us to believe the change occurred ex nihilo.

We don't know that crimes were committed. But we sure as hell know it's highly unusual and highly suspicious. Fortunately, enough republicans and law enforcement agencies agree with me, hence the investigations, notwithstanding Sean Hannity and the right wing echo chamber squealing like stuck, lobotomized pigs.

Hare-brained.

o/t... I also looked that up, and 'hare' also used to be spelled 'hair' (also referring to the rabbit-like creature). That said, obviously people nowadays make the error without knowing that little detail. So it's correct and incorrect at the same time.

Do foreign governments try to meddle with US elections (or vice versa)? Yes. Of course. You're stating the obvious but seem to be missing the point.
The question is whether there was any collusion between those foreign governments and anyone in the US, particularly in the Trump campaign.

Since the investigations are ongoing, it's not correct to state that there was or wasn't collusion yet. It's that simple.

You can try Trump's tictac of just trying to shout "It's all fake" as loud as you like, that doesn't make it so. It's even possible that Trump himself isn't aware of whether there was collusion or not, or whether he's applying some other meaning to the word, or that it's a word he just invented.

A new paper in Kentucky just had it's windows shot out, it happened to a local Lexington paper,
Hard to believe this is the USA.
