Near death experiences

I'm not sure why you think I don't realize such a thing when what I said was pertaining to people on this forum...

Luckily, I don't think too many people would bother giving credence to anything Slipknot types on here.

Like most humans who live on earth, I'm fully aware of the hazards of being alive. We all know somebody who has either attempted or succeeded in committing suicide. My point was that I don't think anyone should start worrying about people on here taking the quite obviously ridiculous posts of the hilariously named "Slipknot" as anything more than obvious nonsense.
Yes, I understood your point. It's not that easy for some to blow it off as easily as you.

When did this happen?
When you said, " Luckily, I don't think too many people would bother giving credence to anything Slipknot types on here. I know I don't, but I do find the entire thread to be good for a bit of a giggle"

Other, more vulnerable people, may not. Wouldn't it be better if some caution were exercised? That's my only point.

Anything is possible in this infinite universe.
Many things are possible, but some things are not probable.

And that gives me a good opportunity to throw in a little dissertation on probability from the masters:

Just to inject a little seriousness into one of the most frivolous threads ever to arise.....The song here is a bit of hokum, of course, but listen to the instrumental work. The clarinetist on this masterpiece is Johnny Dodds, who, it is said, never made a bad record (though he made many, both as a side man and a soloist, and a jug band musician too). More than one prominent critic has counted a couple of his sides as among the greatest jazz ever recorded, among them "Too Tight Blues." When it came out, the record company did not use his real name. The band name on the label was "The New Orleans Bootblacks."

edit to add: by the way, the video identifies this as The Hot Five, but it's not. It's the Hot Seven.

I've experienced God the other day through fapping. Man it takes the fear of death out of you when you experience God. It's the same divine feeling people feel of God in NDE's but while fapping.

No that wasn't God that was me watching you through the camera in your microwave/other appropriate electrical device. I accidently hit the speaker button when you were moaning "Oh God Oh God Oh God" and I was shouting "YES, YES, YES"

I kind of hate to say it, but he comes close to agreement with Martin Luther on this. I vaguely remember a letter Luther wrote to Spinoza, to the effect that Luther thought the best thing that could happen would be if Christ's second coming (no, really! Call it a fault of translation) occurred while he and Spinoza were having orgasms with their wives. That's not something I was taught in the seminary.

Would that be a Menage a Cinque?

This signature is intended to irritate people.

My outlook is, if you personally know of some people on this very forum who're so on the brink of suicide that they'd be influenced by some obviously nonsensical posts by that obviously nonsensical poster, then they're far beyond an exercise in caution.

I don't know of many people who would fit that description on this forum, which is why I didn't refrain from making my comment.

Wow!

Just last week you told me that your sex life was "pretty good".

Do you actually mean to say that your "fapping life is pretty good"?

If so, then that would help to explain all that other afterlife-sex nonsense that you have been posting lately.

In conclusion, a bit of a wanker.

Alright, fair enough. It's not my intention to belabor the issue, just wanted to raise it as a potential concern. Thank you for your kindly responses.

No worries. I'm genuinely not here to encourage suicide or downplay the severity of such a thing. I just didn't think Slipknot's waffling in this thread was any cause for concern.
