The Trump Presidency

Another leftists conspiracy rag.

The Russians continue to make Trump look like an idiot.

Former DNI Clapper says Russia likely sees Comey's firing as 'another victory'

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said Russia likely sees President Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey as "another victory on the scoreboard for them."

“What's unfolded now, here, the leader of the -- the lead of the investigation about potential collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign has been removed. So the Russians have to consider this as a, you know, another victory on the scoreboard for them,” Clapper told ABC News’ Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos on “This Week” Sunday.

Save America: Impeach Trump!! Trump is a laughingstock and an embarrassment to the United States of America.

To be fair, being a laughingstock and embarrassment are not generally considered grounds for impeachment. So far, he hasn't done anything that we know about that really deserves impeachment.

Let's keep funding investigations to try and find something he has done, or wait until he does something right out in the open that is illegal. He will.

He doesn't know the difference between life insurance and health insurance.

The state governments are in much better position to, you know, help people. In terms of, you know, just the size, the mere size of it. But we’re putting in $8bn and you’re going to have absolute coverage. You’re going to have absolute guaranteed coverage. You’re going to have it if you’re a person going in…don’t forget, this was not supposed to be the way insurance works. Insurance is, you’re 20 years old, you just graduated from college, and you start paying $15 a month for the rest of your life and by the time you’re 70, and you really need it, you’re still paying the same amount and that’s really insurance.

America elected the drunk at the bar that claims he could solve all the countries problems in an afternoon because he knows everything due to the self inflated bravado of alcohol. Actually, that would be a better result since the drunk can sober up.

I agree, but remembering the early days of Watergate, I have a feeling that what we are seeing is the calm before the storm.

So we could have tolerated Norm... but got Cliff instead. :p

The 2016 presidential election is one of the most dangerous in our nation's history whereas a foreign hostile government successfully interfered with the election process of the United States of America, which was instrumental in electing an unfit person as President of the United States who refuses to release his taxes to the American people.

Rex Tillerson says Russian meddling in US election is ‘well-established’

All seventeen American intelligence agencies have reported evidence of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. A joint report from the CIA, FBI and NSA claims orders for a hacking and propaganda against candidate Hillary Clinton came from the “highest levels” of the Russian

There seems to be a lot of "why did you make us vote for / support Trump?" efforts to deflect blame;
it's pretty pathetic.

The party of personal responsibility, in that they hold you personally responsible for their choices.

It's the coverup.

Yeah, he's done nothing impeachable, that we know of, so far. Those are two major caveats.

Regardless, it's long past time for dems to get their act together, stop nominating people who run away from the platform at top speed, and start rallying people.

Good, that may be another vote Mike Pence can count on when the time comes.

Thanks for posting this. This link is to the interview Trump gave to The Economist but I forgot to go and read it. Now I will. I heard some economists on TV talking about this interview, how Trump's answers were mostly complete and absolute nonsense. That it was sobering/scary/surreal to read this blathering from someone who is the president of the U.S.A.

Great example!

The top 0.1% - 1% of income earners isn't a large voting block. Everyone else is getting nothing or increases under his proposed plan.

They may not be a large voting block, but they are a large spending block.

Devoting a small portion of the tax gift they get from the GOP in addition to the money they already spend buying elections will have a lot more effect than their votes.

The Ollie Excuse ™.

A long time favorite among conservatives when practicing personal responsibility.

One commentary I read (forget where) stated:
1) When he thinks he knows about the topic, his "facts" are incorrect, or
2) When he doesn't know anything about a topic, he changes the subject.

Read it with those ideas in mind and you'll see almost perfection in following that script.
