Maybe the Orange Menace shouldn't be talking about "tapes".
He can't help himself. His narcissism is so out of control that it leads to the most severe case of diahreah of the mouth ive ever witnessed. He publicly encouraged Russia to hack Clinton. He publicly admitted to obstruction of justice (in essence). He publicly threatens Comey. Etc, etc.(source)
So, just to clarify, The President of the United States is blackmailing Comey to keep his mouth shut about what he knows.

In public.
The President of the United States.
And up to public opinion to instill in them fear of 2018 election.
The man is certifiable. Even my Republican friends think he is. But it's like a star athlete on your favorite team. 'So what he raped a dozen women in college and beat up his girlfriend, he scored 4 touchdowns last Sunday.'
Or maybe he just resigns.
The similarly oblivious Palin resigned without finishing her term. Virtually nothing would surprise me at this point, including defection to Russia.
One day after the acting attorney general warned the White House that its national security adviser was subject to blackmail, the president summoned the FBI director to dinner at the White House, people close to James Comey told NBC News.
At the Jan. 27 dinner, a week after assuming the presidency, Trump requested a loyalty pledge from Comey, people familiar with the dinner say. Comey replied that he could not offer loyalty, but he could pledge his honesty.
This account of the dinner contradicts the one President Trump gave to NBC News Nightly anchor Lester Holt on Thursday. Trump said Comey requested the meeting, asked to be retained in his job, and told him he was not under investigation.
...
It's not known whether the men talked about national security adviser Michael Flynn. Flynn had been interviewed by the FBI a few days before, on Jan. 24 — grilled about his conversations with the Russian ambassador to the U.S., Sergey Kislyak.
I think soccer is a better metaphor. "He scored four goals and no more than two were on his own net."
Trump's baseline mental state is unhinged. But then every few weeks or so he goes on a bender. He's on one of those benders, accompanied by a tweet storm per usual. This morning he threatened Comey...
Trump has been kicking butt since he got in. Can we please leave him alone so he can get some more work done? Just because you personally hate him doesn't beat the fact that he's accomplished more in just a 100 days than anyone else in office.
Quite right that it's not the same thing. One might think that Comey should be fired, but that Trump did so for nefarious reasons.
Email server? Nope, not a cover up.
I still lean towards massive heart attack. He'll regret that extra scoop of ice cream.

I'd love to understand the reasoning behind this (if there is any). Is Trump suggesting that Comey has said things to Trump that Comey would find very compromising ? Wouldn't such things also be compromising - possibly moreso - to Trump ?
Polls are always 'wrong', even if 100% of the population is 'sampled'. People change their minds constantly, so even if you polled every single voter and they all gave truthful answers, the poll would still be 'wrong' by the time it was published. The sample can produce different results than the population. That makes it wrong. Polls are usually wrong in this sense,
Evidence?but they are also usually less wrong than they were.
Future bookshelves will grown under the weight of volumes yet to be written about this candidacy/presidency.So, just to clarify, The President of the United States is blackmailing Comey to keep his mouth shut about what he knows.

The ones that more than suggested Clinton would win the presidency.
I am not saying I do or do not trust this poll. Out of the box I would think close to 50% would describe Trump that way.
