We live in a infinite universe

How, exactly?

You said it was "impossible." "It would be weird" is not an explanation for something claimed to be impossible. Please provide details.
The universe had a beginning. At the beginning there was nothing.

It's so cool we live in a infinite universe. Whatever happens after death will be beyond heaven.

Pretty much it's impossible to cease to exist. We just keep getting more intelligent for all of eternity. Our universe is infinite possibilities.

The idea is that the most probable histories of the universe would be like the surfaces of the bubbles. Many small bubbles would appear, and then disappear again. These would correspond to mini universes that would expand but would collapse again while still of microscopic size. They are possible alternative universes but they are not of much interest since they do not last long enough to develop galaxies and stars, let alone intelligent life. A few of the little bubbles, however, grow to a certain size at which they are safe from recollapse. They will continue to expand at an ever increasing rate, and will form the bubbles we see. They will correspond to universes that would start off expanding at an ever increasing rate. This is called inflation, like the way prices go up every year.

He specifically likens the universe to a bubble _on another bubble_. How can you not see this as clearly saying that the universe exists within another concept?

Because

1) He's not saying this is the explanation for the universe, he's saying this is one of many possible explanations, and

2) You are either not understanding the concept being discussed or you are being disingenuous. The word 'universe' is normally synonymous with 'reality' being that there is only one universe and it encompasses everything, but when the multiverse is being discussed within the parameters of this conversation it's irrelevant where the individual universes pop up from, but where the multiverse itself originated. This is why your paragraph on bubble universes is an irrelevance, it only shunts the question of origin down the line.

The contention is not whether something specific can come from nothing, but whether anything can. So far you've not provided any citations for Hawking or anybody else saying that something cannot come from nothing, whereas I have shown where Hawking actually believes it is possible.

Yeah he probably also doesn't discount the idea of our universe being in a lab from another universe, but that's irrelevant.

It's not, it's perfectly relevant. I remind you again of what you were disputing. You said something cannot come from nothing. You have shown no evidence for that assertion.

I live a simple life. Knowing facts about the universe. Like it being infinite and the universe caring for you. Like it also coming from nothing.

The universe doesn't care for you. 99.99999 (add a few billion billion more 9's here)% of the universe is so hostile to human life that you would die in a microsecond of ending up there.

Death ain't the end. So all of the universe cares for you.
