We live in a infinite universe

I'd like to know how the OP reconciles his/her conviction that everything is always getting better with the second law of thermodynamics.

The interval during which the universe will be hospitable to life is only a tiny fraction of its total existence.

Aaaaaand, if she weighs the same as a duck...

Too early, 3point14, we're still studying the excrement. Then we'll start examining the quacking. Weighing comes waaaaaay down the line.

I'll be in another universe that is better for life.

Oh that's easy. The god thingy goes back in time and adjusts everything to suit, including all the laws of physics. Come on Pixel......

Do liars get to go there?

I'm a theist.

why do most people think there has to be a god for there to be a afterlife. im a atheist that knows from experience that theres a afterlife. atheism is only the disbelief of there not being a invisible man in the sky. so you can believe there is a afterlife and still be a atheist. i got everything i need to exist forever.its hard to mixed the physical world with the spiritual world.

Oh, and you said this one was getting better and better. Wouldn't it be best to just wait here a bit?

Things like love, sex, fiction, and technology happen because we live in a infinite universe.

There was plenty of love, sex, fiction, and technology during the great majority of recorded human history in which everyone believed that the universe was contained within a finite sphere.

Damnit, I want to get to the weighing!

Can we at least talk about the invulnerability of iron chariots?

.......Can we at least talk about the invulnerability of iron chariots?

You don't see many of them around these days. If they were invulnerable, one might expect to bump into one every now and then.

Yes all the stuff I say makes perfect sense on how the universe works. We are eternal beings. The universe is infinite and never ends. It always gets better.

Your new threads aren't better than those from 2008. Then again, in an infinite universe, what's a mere 9 years?

What physical principle proves that?

Physical principle? What are you asking me?

First, we know that nothing can't come from something; that's logic and not physics, sure, but it's a good start. Second, we know a bit about quantum mechanics now, enough to say that the universe is, most probably, a semi-stable bubble within the spacetime substrate. Note that the previous sentence is my wording. In any case it's not written in stone, but it's the best thing we have, which is a lot better than Slip's empty claim.

Our universe came from nothing. Which is cool.

Again, no it didn't. You can keep repeating the same thing over and over but you're the only one that it convinces.
