Brilliant Light Power Going To Market - Free Energy Generator

Thanks for the civil response. Yeah I do have faith in Mills.

But as a matter of record, I for one don't expect the SunCell or acceptance of Mill's theory to be a panacea for our civilization. Even given a clean energy source, one needs the infrastructure and technology to put it to helpful work. The areas of the world in most need are lacking in those very departments. And then there are those who will use *any* energy source for nefarious purposes.

I do hope however than in the next 20 years the CO2 emissions from industrialized nations will have dropped dramatically.
Imagine if 60 million dollars were invested in this?
Can we reverse global warming?

Now you understand the harm frauds and hoaxes cause?

There are serious problems in this world and serious answers as well. But when you get hoaxes like this happening all the time, it detracts from the real work we must do!

A whole lot of people get seriously angry about this crap. We try to be nice to you and just laugh at the foolishness of it all, but their is a dark sinister undercurrent that is actually reason to be angry at the harm it does to society when parasites like Mills are allowed to ply their scams..

And yes, they have verified and validated the existence of hydrinos.
That is a lie, markie, since no consultants verified or validated the existence of hydrinos. Hydrinos were never reported as detected in those consultant reports. Try reading them (see the OP) - what is reported is unexplained (by the consultants) heat or spectrum :jaw-dropp!
  • Rowan University’s report = no hydrinos detected!
  • Rowan University’s report II = no hydrinos detected!
  • UNC Asheville’s report = no hydrinos detected!
  • University of Illinois report = no hydrinos detected!
The spectrum has been explained since 2012: Interpretation of EUV emissions observed by Mills et al.
  • Mills claim of identical spectra for different electrode materials is shown to be false by plotting their data in Figures 1-3.
  • Mills claim that the observed emission cannot be explained as line emissions from the metal electrodes is mostly false since much of the emission can be explained this way.
  • The continuum seen by Mills is probably the instruments used being unable to resolve densely packed spectral lines.
Calorimeter results are easy to get wrong. Look at the cold fusion fiasco and the decades of wasted effort of people trying to replicate it.

I came across this Forbes article cited on 23rd February 2017 again:
It links to a rather scathing Forbes article about Mills and his shenanigans:

Warning Signs For Energy Technology Investors 3: Yes, They Can Be That Stupid
And there is a typical lie in the comments from Mills.
From the “Society for Classical Physics” forum, Mills gave the following reply:

{Note from John Farrell, Moderator. Below is a rebuttal from Dr. Mills}
...
Even the top scientific publication Nature just published an article questioning the validity of quantum mechanics (Nature, May 21 2015, Vol. 221, pp. 278-280).
Quantum physics: What is really real? is actually an news feature supporting the validity of quantum mechanics :jaw-dropp!
The news feature is about the latest experiments exploring ways to distinguish between interpretations of QM. A major question is whether the wave function is a mathematical tool, or an representation of ignorance or a real entity. Schrödinger's cat is given as an example:
  • Wave function as a mathematical tool = the cat is both dead and alive.
  • Wave function as ignorance - we do not know whether the cat is alive or dead.
  • Wave function as reality - the cat is either alive or dead.

Later someone points out an incorrect argument and Mills goes on an irrelevant and idiotic rant about power (a scalar quantity) being a vector.
The paper includes a very brief argument based on the Poynting Power Vector that the orbitsphere does not radiate. This argument is given in more detail in an Appendix to GUT-CP. As noted in HSG #13810,

http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/hsgh … sage/13810

this argument is incorrect and in fact the conclusion is false. Certain configurations of the orbitsphere must radiate
.
I think it is symptomatic of Mills’ feeble grasp of basic physics that in this current paper, he refers to the “time averaged power” and claims it is zero. That is, at any given instant in time (except for isolated discrete values), the power is nonzero, but the “time averaged power” is zero. The only way this can happen is if the power is negative at some times and positive at other times and on average these cancel out. The problem being, as I am sure John EB knows very well, power is never negative.

"The closed-minded science community has succeeded in attacking and burying this idea, which shakes the very foundation of their beliefs, to the extent that the greatest invention known to mankind cannot be brought to fruition. The quantumists have won through foul means."

I'll take this prediction over any from Mills/markie/etc.

To clarify, even if there is no working product in 2 years, I won't say "there's nothing to it". It will certainly prove me wrong in my timeline, and it will give me good reason to reassess my beliefs, but it's not like it will activate a belief kill switch.

That's all, markie? After 14+ years of failure and 14+ years before that and all you will do is stretch your timeline a tad? Really? That's not being generous in your evaluation of BLP, that just pure faith, nothing more. You ought to just admit it - if only to yourself - to allow us to evaluate your posts more accurately.

As far as I am aware, the relatively few pipes there were used in actively cooling the electromagnetic pump that moved the molten silver. It may have also been used to cool the underside of the dome so the silver vapour would condense at the bottom. No sure about that though.

And does that not move heat away from the device?

If that fails (without reasonable excuse)[...]

I expect that this is where it will fall down. He'll fail to deliver again, and you'll count whatever he says as "reasonable", just like you've thought it reasonable for him to abandon a working model entirely because he's had an idea for a more efficient model that doesn't yet work.

With the SunCell, the hydrino reaction is both power dense and sustainable. Previous iterations failed in one or the other aspects.

I should qualify. The short burst reaction in the SunCell is already provably power dense. Long term reactions (of hours) in the SunCell have already been performed, but at necessarily low power. When the dome is closed both the power density and the sustained reaction will - presumably - be attained. That will be the moment of truth. If that fails (without reasonable excuse), I will probably be disappointed enough to reassess my belief.

The reaction has not been sustainable beyond seconds (at the most, the video is quite unclear about exactly how long) - without the use of "ignition" energy. His generator like so many of these types of devices will work wonderfully when they can just engineer out the need for sustained "ignition" energy input....

I was referring to underdeveloped countries.

Yes coal and nuclear could be converted, but it is not trivial.

Compared to building a new power generator it would indeed be trivial and cheap.

ETA: And many of Mill's presentations have him banging on about his generators taking people off the grid, which is exactly the solution for undeveloped countries without wide-scale existing power distribution grids.

It seems once again you are at odds with Mill's public claims.

Nobody. As I've said before, Mills optimism gets the better of him. The prototypes were working. That does not mean they were ready for prime time. Mills thought they would be, but was mistaken. The power density could not be maintained with that solid fuel cell.
Translation into English, the light bulbs burned out.

Interesting that they could develop that much power, I know many remote communities that use 50kw diesel gennies that would have been interested in buying those units- even if they weren't `optimal' they certainly would be a viable product even back then, I know of one unit (I helped install it) that cost literally hundreds of thousands of dollars in batterys, solar, wind and a backup diesel genny for an outback motel (prior they ran 2 diesel gennys 24/7, expensive on fuel and noisy for the guests)

So he could have had a good market even for the `lab' version, and have been actually making money via a working business for the last 8 years.....
Yet its still `months' away from market....
If nothing else his `investors' must ask themselves- why when he has had the ability to reduce the amount of investor money required for his `startup', he hasnt
Surely one of the first things a company should do is maximise the investors returns (in a moral and legal way)

That he hasnt tried to maximise his investors profits shows that he doesnt have their best interests at heart
That alone should make any prospective investor wary

If he isnt interested in maximising their investment, then they should consider investing elsewhere where they would get a better return on their money

(and frankly, throwing your money into the garbage would be an equally good investment for the last 8 years (minimum))

Food for thought for markie and his mates

thought that quote sounded familiar
13th April 2017, 01:23 AM #2989

;-)

And its not as if they only had one working prototype, they `actually' had twenty, so a functional design....
its almost as if he was telling fibs back then...

but then if he was lying about having the twenty running generators back then, isnt likely he's continuing to lie now?

markie?

My brain has tended to glaze over on this stuff recently, but I thought I read somewhere up thread that the obstacle to completion of the project involved the photovoltaic cells that were going to be used to convert the light, with critics suggesting that a lot of heat will go to waste, and photovoltaic conversion was silly when one could use it to generate steam. And then suddenly it has always been meant to generate steam, and yet they're still hung up on the solar cells. Something seems a bit off here.

Something is rotten in the state of Denmark New Jersey.

Recall I specifically said "useable" light. Admittedly, at lower temperatures there is less usable light, as current photovoltaic technology does not cover the infrared afaik.

And at higher temperatures, there is even more waste in the infrared. You understand that increasing the temperature increases the amount of light emitted at *every* wavelength, right? Even the wavelengths incompatible with the solar cells?
