Brilliant Light Power Going To Market - Free Energy Generator

markie - where are you getting all this additional information from, it doesn't seem to be on their website?

It's common knowledge to those who have been following BLP's progress over the last three years, when a breakthrough was achieved. I think it was February 2014 when Mills did an audienced presentation showing the explosion of hydrated metal and the unprecedented high power yield. At the time he thought that it was a typical explosion. If I recall correctly, he was considering using a magnetohydrodynamic drive to harness the energy. It was only a little later, after more closely analyzing the reaction kinetics, that he discovered that by far most of the energy released was photonic and not kinetic. It was then that the idea of using PVs was conceived.

All of this would be sensible if it were not for the inconvenient fact that having converted all the UV and X-ray energy into heating "the dome", Mills idiotic design then tries to harvest the energy by putting PV cells round the glowing "dome" while struggling desperately to get rid of the "waste" heat which offers many times more power than he can ever get with his moronic design.

You have a funny definition of the word 'fact'. As for practicality, if you think doing it this way (throwing away the major portion of the energy as waste heat) is a practical solution then you should think again.

Mills's utterly stupid solution is about as elegant as a hippopotamus in high heels dancing the can-can. What it provides is not an engineering trade-off but handy excuse for failure. As I said, on its own it proves that this is a scam.

Oh come now, it's well known that the internal combustion engine of the modern automobile throws away over 70 percent of its energy as waste heat. Welcome to the laws of thermodynamics.

So, can you explain in more detail how Mills cannot use a normal steam engine design because all the energy comes free as light, but not use a normal photocollection system because there is too much heat?

Because to me these two statements kinda contradict each other.

The first applications are likely to drive steam turbines. Later applications will be photovoltaic. Still others may use both. No need to perceive contradiction when there is none.

Unless you are claiming clairvoyance that is impossible. You have been disseminating news that was not available until the start of this year at the earliest.

Again where are you getting your new information from?

Photons are only kinetic.

The momentum of a photon is negligible compared to that of atomic matter.

Wait, wouldn't a "PV" "dome still be "necessary" to collect them there photons?

Sure, a geodesic dome of PVs would still be needed. But the blackbody emitter dome of graphite would not have been necessary.

So harvest the freak'n heat instead. The limitations of the system are what they built into it.

The first applications will do so.

Ah so wasting two thrids of the energy produced is now "an elegant, relatively compact solution." Do you get dizzy from all the spinning?

More than two thirds of the energy will be wasted, initially. Perhaps more like four fifths. But efficiencies and improved technologies will come in time.

It's old news. Check out BLP's YouTube channel and see Mills talk about these things three years ago.

Sorry, but that violates Scrotaris's Law and breaches the Principle of Singularity of Quantum Qualia.

Does not Chopra state "A formless void comprehends infinite potentiality"?

QED.

Oh come now, it's well known that the internal combustion engine of the modern automobile throws away over 70 percent of its energy as waste heat. Welcome to the laws of thermodynamics.
Put that spade down. Everyone here can see that the PV system is completely foolish. Who in their right mind would throw 80% of the energy away as "waste heat" which then becomes a problem to dispose of, and attempt to harvest the other 20% with PV cells which themselves are unlikely to be better than 20% efficient at converting any light incident to electrical energy. So 20% x 20% means that Mills's monumentally stupid system design harvests 4% of the energy generated while having a complicated cooling system to get rid of the other 80%. Not to mention cooling the cells to stop the 16% that they convert into heat cooking them. It's a scam.

All that waste heat and the introduction of internal combustion engines makes one wonder why this marvelous energy source, whatever it might be, is not simply used to run an engine in a cogenerator. Aside from the marketing appeal, why should the developers be so concerned to turn all their energy straight into electricity? Make a little hydrino powered home unit, heat and light in a box. If they actually existed they'd sell like hotcakes.

Nothing in anything either you, nor Mill's presentations have ever said come close to that bit at all.
If the device generates this much waste heat *I* could have had a prototype engine running on it in the time this thread has been active, and I am in no way claiming I am an engineer.
But again, there is excuse after excuse after excuse why a working engine is not there.

If Mill's would have a real product he could have done that and been swimming in money. But since his history shows he is nothing but a scammer he can't ever get to stage.

The momentum of a photon is negligible compared to that of atomic matter.

Well, that depends on "The momentum" of that "atomic matter" doesn't it? Comoving "atomic matter" has no momentum while a photon always has some. Anyways that still doesn't change, nor even try to address, the fact that Photons are only kinetic

Sure, a geodesic dome of PVs would still be needed. But the blackbody emitter dome of graphite would not have been necessary.

Technically by your own assertion you would still have needed something to keep vapor deposits off the "PVs".

The first applications will do so.

You mean the "The first applications" after the last applications that were going to "do so".

More than two thirds of the energy will be wasted, initially. Perhaps more like four fifths. But efficiencies and improved technologies will come in time.

Higher efficacy steam engines and turbines have already "come in time". They are simply, and apparently deliberately, just wasting their energy and time.

By all means, please, keep spinning, you only make it more ridiculous.

Even less, if the system has to be actively cooled the energy to drive that cooling system comes right off the top of any useful energy eventually produced. Heck, given the amount of cooling needed it could take more energy just to dump that 'waste heat' than the Rube Goldberg set up could actually produce.

They could move their research department to Iceland. Think of all the geothermal engineers who could whip up a working system from their tech in a weekend.

Hell, Icelandic high school students could probably whip up a working prototype as a school project.

Yep, making deliberate stalling, obfuscation and lying the only accrual work they have ever done on the system. Heck, based on the caliber of the nonsense presented, they didn't even put much work into that.

That might have been deliberate. Put too much effort into the excuses and you might temporarily fool someone who would figure things out. Target people who won't figure things out and will swallow stupid excuses and they'll likely go to their graves without suing you or trying to press charges.

If Mills is a con man, he's a very good one.

I'm guessing there's a fair bit of the sunk-cost fallacy in play among investors.

Yep, the old Nigerian (419) Scam test. Deliberately misspell and misspeak in the scam solicitation. That way anyone who replies positively already doesn't care or perhaps notice such inconsistencies. It's a way of getting desirable targets to self-select.

One must only look at the motivation of the scam artists. They have no interest in people who can figure it out, they are only interested in those who cannot.

The intentional baloney spelling is only there for the purpose of eliminating those who can actually spell. Those people are not the target market and self eliminate. This makes the scammers job easier. Those who know that the scammer is not some Nigerian prince will automatically eliminate themselves. The scammer is not interested in those people. The scammer does not even have to try with those.

From this, I think you can gather that I have wound up several. It was most amusing. I even wrote code to feed what appeared to be valid bank details to the scammers. That was a hoot. The death treats were a laugh.

Is this any different? Nope. BLP is just the same scam with a modern old spin.

Where does that leave markie? No idea. Is he part of the Mills operation? Maybe, I have no idea

Is markie a gullible rube? Maybe. No idea.

Is markie an individual who is overcommitted? Maybe. No idea.

All we have to go on are what markie posts. And I think everyone here is aware of that.

On the one hand, markie has a naivety that doesn't seem plausible, on the other, if he was a shill, why shill here? Surely any decent con man would know he wouldn't find any converts here. Unless of course it's one of the other theories floated here, like some sort of test marketing. Inquiring minds want to know.

Sprinkling in some of the current pop-sci buzzwords doesn't hurt.

Photovoltaic: "Yeah, the guy down the street's putting those same solar things on his roof!"

Dark matter: "I saw a show about that on Discovery. It had that Japanese science guy that's on all their shows."
