According to ABC News Kim Jong Un of North Korea launched a missile. The missile promptly malfunctioned and didn't become airborne.

The question on the minds of millions is "what next?".

I think there are rocket scientists in North Korea whose job security is now in jeopardy and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out.

Job security????? I suspect they and families will be put in a stadium and have grenades thrown at them randomly!!!!!

More likely, if they can't put it as "the US sabotaged us" then it will unfortunately be execution by anti aircraft gun, possibly with their innocent family too.

And given his past behaviour the purge would start at the top. It is one country in which being the top dog doesn't protect you.
 
There was a Fresh Air segment just last week... The author of a new study says that we (the US ) has been conducting cyber-espionage against the N. Korean missile program for some years now.

That the failure rate of launches has increased significantly due to these efforts.

Of course, any missile testing program (including our own) is subject to failures, so we don't know how successful any tampering might be.

On a more serious note, it sounds like it's time for the North Korean rocket scientists to have him over to inspect the missiles. "If you put your head right down in there, sir, you can see what we're talking about. That's right, just a little further..."
 
Makes another mockery of all that 'clear and present danger' we are constantly told North Korea represent.
