Big hand wave from Colorado!

Have spent a few days lurking and figured it was time to come out of the closet. I'm a recently retired Clinical laboratory scientist (hospital lab) and long time atheist. I am, however, fascinated with those who really believe in God, conspiracies and other woo. I don't condemn them, I just want to understand their point of view. I tend to be gentle, not confrontational. I used to believe many things and remember how "real" those beliefs were. Skepticism is a process. I am sure I still have some beliefs that could use some good skeptical analysis.
Since retiring last August, I have rediscovered what a readaholic I am and that naps are the key to a good life :) Hope to have some great conversations with you all. I'm flabbergasted at those that have post counts in the thousands! I bow to you.

Don't be. It just means we have too much time on our hands. In my case, for instance, I'm just a novice skeptic who spends a lot of time reading the serious threads, and fill out my time by posting mostly in Community and Humor. Welcome!

It's technically against the rules to create a new username when you already had an old one, but we'll see what the mods say.
 
I came the first couple years of jref. Come on. I wouldn't have access to those old emails if I tried. Lol. Over 20 years ago. Anyway I've done nothing wrong I just had a question for the help forum :confused: :(

Just tried to count, maybe not more than 20 but the 90s. Lol

Would think that if you are not a previously banned member and are honest with the moderation team, all will be good. Contact them by PM if you have not already.
