Brilliant Light Power Going To Market - Free Energy Generator

Status
Not open for further replies.
2010 Seven companies are licensed to produce energy using the Blacklight Power process.

http://www.businesswire.com/news/ho...nnounces-Commercial-License-Europe-GEOENERGIE

2010 This whole deal is ready to go. Reactors are operating and have been ordered. All the critics have been put in their place.

http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-402579

Even competitors are having success with hydrinos in 2010.

Note also that in this piece from 2010, the possibility of harm from hydrinos is mentioned.

Now we go to 2012, and what do we have?

http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-793467

The hydrino reactor is stalled and we have working CIHT cells. The reactor needed a "bipolar plate" which hadn't been invented yet. Which seems odd given the 2010 report.

In 2014 we now have the new SF-CIHT cell that has been validated and replicated and maybe the state and federal governments are going to adopt it.

http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-1075351

Good links to some of BLPs history. I for one already know Mills attempts through the years to extract hydrino energy from solution via electrolysis, from solution via heated nickel tubes, from gas via pulsed discharges, from various types of CIHT cells and now most recently from the SunCell.

Thermacore did not progress in their efforts, Gardner Watts did not progress, but BLP has advanced the technology considerably, especially now with the SunCell.

While Dr. Mills optimism has got the better of him with each fresh new iteration of hydrino generation method over the years, he is about to be rewarded for his perseverance, big time.

Again, thanks for the response markie.

So Mills did not publish his derivation in a relevant, peer-reviewed journal.

Reading between the lines, you did not do any checking yourself, independently.

And you did not answer my last set of questions.

Curiously, your response is similar to BH's, in the 2009 PhysicsForums thread, i.e. a non-answer.

OK, so you, like RC, can't bring yourself to do relatively simple formula checking.

It would be such an easy way to prove Mills wrong, wouldn't it? But you refuse to do it. I will be doing it myself, just for fun. Other have done it and have confirmed Mills results.

Your last set of questions? About if I have seen the SunCell in operation, personally, or if I'm an employee of BLP? I've already said I'm not an insider. I've never been to BLP's facilities. But I've seen youtube videos of the Suncell in (limited) operation, and I seen videos of people like Dr. Peter Janssen testifying that they have seen it operating for long durations.

While Dr. Mills optimism has got the better of him with each fresh new iteration of hydrino generation method over the years, he is about to be rewarded for his perseverance, big time.

And there's the scammer's message loud and clear: Mills has failed every other time, and there have been lots of other times; but this time it'll all be completely different.

Dave

Thank you very much!

I was in error. It was the lack of a heat exchanger and not the lack of a housing that scuttled Mills in the 1990's.

They had steam engines powering cars in the early 1900's.

It makes sense in a way that Mills is over 100 years behind the times on automotive technology. His "theory" pretends about 100 years of quantum theory, science and observation never happened.

They were waiting for a heat exchanger at the time; it doesn't mean that they never obtained one. The real problem was low power density. Too much overhead to be competitive with combustion.

Michaelsuede, markie, just how many years will you accept excuses from Dr. Real Soon Now for his failure to start making and selling an actual product in the real world, before you admit that the whole thing is wrong?

Never mind the unphysicality of it, such as the absolute and obvious nonsense in claiming they're producing "dark matter" (and supposedly verifying this with spectroscopy). I'm talking about just plain fulfilling their promises. Will you ever hold them to account for never doing what they keep saying they're going to do?

A year? Two? Five? Twenty? Never?

PMSL

But he's managed to keep doing it, he's now in college (lol as if) and his 1st year teacher is STILL waiting for that homework...

markie did he ever hand in that 1st year homework?

Based on the awards Mills received as a student, oh yes he has done his homework all right.

Willig Pentathlon Prize in Chemistry
Michael A. Lewis Memorial Prize in Physics
Isaac E. Roberts Biology Award
Rawnsley Science Award
Morgan D. Person Prize in Chemistry
Fredrick C. Schiffman Award in Chemistry
Theodore Alexander Saulnier Award in Chemistry

Anyone have the time to fact check those award claims? We are talking about a guy who claims to have attended MIT despite the university having no record of him ever having been there.

Some of these appear to be real awards. Several appear to be internal honors awarded to successful undergraduates at Franklin and Marshall College. But I can't find several of these awards on the Internet, or if Mills was actually awarded any of them.

Mills is quite a genius actually. He'll keep the con going until he no longer has a need for money, he'll be either retired or dead.

Latest press release from BrLP

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eYDipzYuTY

Now that they have automation that allows them to run the cell in a closed system, a prototype generator is very close indeed.

Thanks for the update! It looks like a major step toward closing the dome.

The video description says that "BrLP has also achieved automated control of the SunCell’s® thermal profile." It seems to me the thermal profile will be controlled by at least two means: the rate of pumping of molten silver (and the oxide within it), and controlling the concentration of H2 gas (fuel). I'm supposing that the former is the one that they have controlled.

Markie, you will deserve kudos if you stick around after this latest iteration fails to materialize. Previous proponents in the free energy threads have stopped posting rather than face the music.

As many have said before
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof

Care to mention where you found this particular claim?

I took myself of to Dr Google and found the first link to be this very thread
The second link at first glance seemed fruitless, but only at first glance

I read down almost 3/4 of the page and found this little gem
He also received the Michael A. Lewis Memorial Prize in Physics, the Isaac E. Roberts Biology Award, the Rawnsley Science Award, the Morgan D. Person Prize in Chemistry, the Fredrick C. Schiffman Award in Chemistry and the Theodore Alexander Saulnier Award in Chemistry.

Sounds familiar yes, and its even in a thread about Mills

WH, 3 months ago

In one of those strange coincidences, one of Mills’ biggest supporters is… Emiritus Professor of Chemistry John Farrell of Franklin and Marshall College.

Whatever else is going on, Randell Mills is an exceptionally smart chap:

He attended Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, B.A. in 1982. He was a member of the Black Pyramid Honor Society and the Phi Beta Kappa National Honour Society where he was the only Junior invited to join in that year. He received the Willig Pentathlon Prize in Chemistry, one of the oldest and most prestigious awards in chemistry first established in 1912 which is awarded to the senior major who scores the highest on an exam covering the General, Analytical, Organic, Inorganic, and Physical areas of Chemistry. The name of each recipient is placed on a plaque and the student receives the income from the endowment established by Herman Luther Willig.

He also received the Michael A. Lewis Memorial Prize in Physics, the Isaac E. Roberts Biology Award, the Rawnsley Science Award, the Morgan D. Person Prize in Chemistry, the Fredrick C. Schiffman Award in Chemistry and the Theodore Alexander Saulnier Award in Chemistry.

https://publicaddress.net/system/cafe/hard-news-public-address-founder-refutes/?i=25 note you have to scroll about 3/4 of the way down)

Now I suspect that that line "Whatever else is going on, Randell Mills is an exceptionally smart chap:" has been placed like that in order to make the average reader think that the following portion `He attended Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania where he graduated Summa Cum Laude, B.A. in 1982." etc is about Randle Mills

here is a screenshot from that address from above

note that it `appears' that Mills attended Franklin and Marshall College

tricky WH, tricky....

Notice the exact same order in which the awards appear

Deny, deny, deny cold and embarrassing reality and those financially and or emotionally invested will still follow you and cling to your lies. Works for politicians, cult leaders and scam artists.

A little investigoogling reveals that the same copypasta is shovelled in all over the place.

However, the linked article is severely critical of Robert Park for some reason.

Some tasty quotes...
The discovery still has critical skeptics, even after proving itself incontrovertibly in the toughest tests America's official national laboratories and top industrial and university science labs could devise.
Has it? No reference provided.

Obviously, there's a growing body of evidence that one man, for motive unknown, undertook to disparage Mills personally and professionally, and to deny the world any potential benefit from his discoveries.
Is there? Seems to me everyone is pretty much set against the whole malarkey, not just Robert Park.

By 2008, however, http://money.cnn.com/2008/07/01/smallbusiness/blacklight.fsb/index.htm when Fortune magazine searched out skeptics to debunk Mills, Park was apparently the only one left
The only one left, you say? I didn't know that, are you sure?...because in the very next paragraph...

Mills' theory is rejected by almost all of the scientific community.
One of these things is not like the others.

Yes, exactly that - no ifs, ands, or buts. His BlackLight Process, already well-established in roughly 20 test-bed prototype 50- and 75-kilowatt reactors, promises power plants that will produce unlimited power but cost only as much as a gas-fired plant to build, about $1,500 a kilowatt, and then will have no further cost for fuel. None. Zero. Zip.
WTF? Where are these things? They are claimed to have been in operation for seven years. Seven frakkin' years in operation, yet here we have markie and michaelsuede telling us that Mills does not have a working device at all yet.

And then we get the inevitable...
Dr. Mills has won the Willig Pentathlon Prize in Chemistry, Michael A. Lewis Memorial Prize in Physics, Isaac E. Roberts Biology Award, Rawnsley Science Award, Morgan D. Person Prize in Chemistry, Fredrick C. Schiffman Award in Chemistry and Theodore Alexander Saulnier Award in Chemistry.
It's in the same order yet again.

Who writes this stuff?

Well, I don't really need to ask because the guy helpfully signed it. Turns out to be a bloke called Joe Shea.

What's he all about I wondered?

Wonder no more. He is a HHO fuel my car with water and achieve 200000000000000000000000MPG proponent. His website? h h o games.com (link intentionally broken, no traffic for you). Last update that I see is 2014, but it is a fumbled fingered website from the very birth of the internet. So I thought WTF is this?

In an attempt to find out I started clicking the links that Joe provides. Some were live, some were dead. Fair enough, that happens. Could happen to anyone.

Let's see what he has to offer, to be fair.

First article "6TH ANNUAL PECOS VALLEY HYDROGEN RUN ROPES IN SOME GREAT RESULTS!"
Now we have a rabbit hole of woo.

Second article "BARRY HOLSZWEIG DEBUTS NEW FUEL GENIE MODEL IN YOU TUBE VIDEO"
OK, Now I have to find out who Barry is and what a fuel genie might be. Turns out to be abject bollocks. Don't waste your google fu.

Third article "JOE SHEA PUBLISHES "POWER, A Story of Cold Fusion" ON AMAZON"
Meh. Google it up if you wish. You know what you will find.

Fourth article "A FOND FAREWELL TO THE SMART SCARECROW SHOW"
I neither know nor care what that is. But it is a metaphorical ex-parrot.

Fifth article "HHO GAMES FOUNDER JOE SHEA TO RUN FOR CONGRESS"
Wait, what? OK, now I have lost the will to live.

However, the linked article is severely critical of Robert Park for some reason.

Possibly due to this, among other things:

Since 1999 Robert L. Park, emeritus professor of physics at the University of Maryland and a notable skeptic, has been particularly critical of BLP. In 2008 Park wrote:

"BlackLight Power (BLP), founded 17 years ago as HydroCatalysis, announced last week that the company had successfully tested a prototype power system that would generate 50 KW of thermal power. BLP anticipates delivery of the new power system in 12 to 18 months. The BLP process,[33] discovered by Randy Mills, is said to coax hydrogen atoms into a "state below the ground state", called the "hydrino." There is no independent scientific confirmation of the hydrino, and BLP has a patent problem. So they have nothing to sell but bull ****. The company is therefore dependent on investors with deep pockets and shallow brains." – Park[34]
