In particular, please consider the loose use of "you" and ensure it is clear if addressing a specific person or a group of people...otherwise you leave fate to that of the mod team and nobody wants that.

Just read the Time magazine interview. The man, it cannot be said strongly enough, is a lunatic.

Another vision:
The Inauguration. Trump has just been sworn in. He turns to look at the camera and says, "OK America. I got you by the balls. I'm the *********** president."

It's like it's impossible for him to sincerely admit that he was wrong and that the claims he made were false or at the very least highly dubious and misleading. During the whole interview he lays the blame for everything on others and only manages to make the hole he's dug himself into even bigger by being unable to taking blame.

This is not new behavior for Trump. He has always been this way. He is never to blame for anything. He would look at Kennedy's handling of the aftermath of the Bay of Pigs and ask why didn't JFK publicly blame Allen Dulles and hang him out to dry?

Liberals are. We're adapting GOP tactics, which provably work.

Great. If this is the case, then I can't vote for either major party.

As it happens, I don't yet believe you, so there are still options.

The benefit of living in Illinois is having no illusions about Democratic Party tactics.

Shouldn't have illusions about either party in Illinois. Ryan, Ogilvie, et al. Now Rauner, who fancies himself a Reagan-ite but is a terrible executive and leader.

There aren't many Percys or Simons out there anymore.

Or Lincolns.

ETA: I recommend reading John Kass of the Chicago Tribune.

Sad thing is that Republican Tactics in Illinois are little different then the Democratic ....The GOP is just not nearly as good at them.
Two successive Governors of Illinois served time in prison. One was a Republcan, the other a Democrat. That is Illinois politics in a nutshell.
There is a joke: The two most famous public figures in Illinois history are Abraham Lincoln and Al Capone. And Illinois politicians follow the example of the latter rather then the former.

No disagreement, the Illinois Republican Party is a partner in collusion. Obama's Secretary of Transportation: Ray LaHood.

Only one of those.

Say, did you know -- and not many do -- that Lincoln was a Republican?

I don't know if I would find a meeting of Trump and Lincoln more interesting or Trump and Teddy.

I don't see either ending well for Trump.

Were they ever cell mates like the Pennsylvania speakers of the house?

Okay so this is Donny junior rather than the full Trump, but I can't help but feel as dad had to be restrained after yesterday's attack in London Junior decided to step with an inappropriate misleading tweet:

Donald Trump Jr criticises London mayor after terror attack

Donny junior posted:

Donald Trump Jr tweeted an article written last year, in which Sadiq Khan said terror vigilance had become "part and parcel" of life in a global city.
Mr Trump quoted the headline and tweeted: "You have to be kidding me?!"

The reality is a comment the Mayor made last year:

In the article, Mr Khan was speaking shortly before a meeting with New York Mayor Bill De Blasio, on the day after three bombs exploded in New York City and nearby towns, wounding 29 people.
The attacks had given him a sleepless night, he said, as he pondered the dangers faced by big Western cities like New York and London.
"Part and parcel of living in a great global city is you have to be prepared for these sorts of things, you have to be vigilant, you have to support the police doing an incredibly hard job, you have to support the security services," he said.

I do hope dad brings junior along on that state visit we are all so looking forward too..
