Cont: President Trump: Part 3

Because the story doesn't include her telling them to piss off?

A C&D from Trump Inc. would be the most believable part, to me. :D

Weird.. the program I knew was simple and cats is something you expect from a teenage girl. But who's going to care? The C&D letter being reported in the news is the only thing that draws any interest. It's the story that draws attention to her site. Without it, no one visits. What better way to get traffic by mentioning that our insecure President cares about kittens.

Regarding the "kittens punching Trump website C&D story":

1) An update from the Observer

Update: An external PR firm reached out on behalf of the Trump Organization, claiming the Observer never called regarding this story. We did.

Alan Garten, executive vice president and chief legal officer at The Trump Organization, provided the following comment through the PR agency:

“This is completely false. No such letter was ever sent by us.”

2) The TrumpScratch.com domain was only registered on March 22

So looks like that particular piece of news was, indeed, fake.

Being whiny children who focus the next four years on stringing up every single out of context statement of Trumps as if it's a big deal isn't going to put you in a position to get him out of the white house.

FFS, learn from what went wrong honestly. Don't repeat the same mistake. If you spend the next few years constantly insisting that Trump won because all the people who voted for him are bigots and deplorable, or were conned and are just too stupid to realize it... I can almost guarantee that you'll leave me stuck with this idiot in charge for a second term.

Change your tactics.

Liberals are. We're adapting GOP tactics, which provably work.

Yep nothing bigoted here.

Well good thing most people here are focused on his lousy healthcare plan, possible Russian connections and constant lying instead of that. Of course I'm sure his apologists would like to pretend all the attacks on him are about remarks 'taken out of context'.

Taking anything he says to mean anything at all is taking him out of context. Everyone knows you should take him seriously but not literally. Thinking that anything he says has any connection to the real world is not a mistake his supporters would ever make.

Do you honestly believe that half the voters in the US are either bigots or idiots or both?

If you see someone hanging out with a bigot what does that make you think of them?

People are judged by their associations. So I think half of them were pretty damn ok with being associated with a bigot. They voted for one after all.

Only, that turned out to be false. He literally meant all the stupid stuff he said during the campaign. Possibly with the exception of prosecuting Hillary.

Yes but now he clearly doesn't mean that Obama had him wire tapped or that he had the largest inauguration crowds in history. Only a fool would take those statements to mean anything.

Trump should go everywhere with a translator so normal people understand what the **** he's saying.

Not to pile on, here, but I'd say one way to not get another Trump term (and a more effective way in my opinion) would be to stop providing cover for him. If someone is not a supporter of his, yet they accept every flimsy excuse for his words and actions*, or handwave away the mountain of errors, insults, and blunders that Trump and his administration has committed as "stringing up every single out of context statement of Trumps as if it's a big deal", then that person is at least an apologist for him. If you don't want another four years of him, stop defending and normalizing him

*blood coming out of her *nose*? If you buy that I have some oceanfront property in Kansas to sell you

Not half. I have an exact number for you: 62,979,636 voters are either bigots or idiots, yes.

No, no. That's 100% of Trump's voters. Only half of those are bigots or idiots; that's only about 10% of the country. I think the label for those is "deplorable", and I have it on good authority that calling them that after they've made up their minds about who they're going to vote for will make them vote for that person even more.

I can't help but takeaway from this interview is that the President has no apparent ability to discern fact from fiction.

One of my ideas here is that throughout the campaign and now as president, you have used disputed statements, this is one of them that is disputed, the claim that three million undocumented people voted in the election…

Well I think I will be proved right about that too.

The claim that Muslims celebrated on 9-11 in New Jersey…

Well if you look at the reporter, he wrote the story in the Washington Post.

But my idea is that whatever the reality of what you are describing, the fact that they are disputed makes them a more effective message, that you are able to spread the message further, that more people get excited about it, that it gets on TV.

Well now if you take a look at the votes, when I say that, I mean mostly they register wrong, in other words, for the votes, they register incorrectly, and/or illegally. And they then vote. You have tremendous numbers of people. In fact I’m forming a committee on it.

But there’s no evidence that 3 million people voted with…

We’ll see after the committee. I have people say it was more than that. We will see after we have. But there will be, we are forming a committee. And we are going to do a study on it, a very serious problem.

Good grief. We don't have the money to fund meals on wheels or public libraries, but we have the money to do studies on whether or not these numbers Trump pulled out of his ass are real? (spoiler: no, they are not)
