I'm saying that there are things that go too far, and that it's emblematic of the regime's mindset that it's not enough that they leave (which is what they previously claimed they wanted), but that the US actively kicked them out by sending them back to a hellhole nation. It's beyond any issue of law and just a basic issue of humanity.

I'd like to think that the BP agent realized finally what he was doing so he sent them their luggage, when he could have confiscated it.

I call it humanity, but I don't think you'd understand that word.

But let's use logic. Explain the logic of arresting some one already leaving the country just so they can be...wait for it...kicked out of the country they're trying to leave!

The difference between the two is that allowing them leave lets them get somewhere where their claim has at least a fighting chance of being upheld while arresting them guarantees they will be sent back to a third-world hellhole where they were politically/culturally/etc oppressed and where their lives may be endangered.

This happened under Obama all time. There's stretches of highway outside of San Diego with semi permanent checkpoints set up, for no other reason than they swing near the border and would be a good place to pick up crossers.

So everybody gets stopped and looked at. And if your car is small and the interior is visible and you don't look too Hispanic, border patrol just waves you along.

Happened to me every time I drove that way, between 2008 and 2012. It never occurred to me to compare potus to Hitler for it.
 
Well I guess Canada and US have agreement that US wont let illegal immigrants into Canada, if they can stop it, and vice versa. It's common agreement between neighbor states if I understand it correctly.

Because you are presenting a kind of cartoon, childish picture of what's happening here. The answer you come up with only applies to this weird reality constructed, not the actual world.

Here's some of the things you left out of the description:
1) US Customs agents were preventing a crime unless the travelers had visas to enter Canada.
2) US Customs does not just "kick people out" of the country. Otherwise, putting them on a boat at the 200 mile limit would do. Instead, we deport them to their country of origin.
3) It is the job of the Border Patrol to check the status of those who attempt to cross. It is also their job to take appropriate action based on what they find out.
4) Canada could have (and should have) refused these people entry and sent them back to the US (or deported them - which they might have, the story doesn't say.)
5) By your logic, we shouldn't send Mexican citizens back to Mexico, as long as Canada is closer and more convenient. Unless, I suppose, you get to rank Mexico as "not a hellhole."

I believe that the US has the same sovereign right to control immigration as any other nation, only allowing it in the numbers, at the times and places of our choosing. I am for careful vetting of those we do allow to come in.

But there is something fell about the idea that we would try to stop people who were self-deporting (something the GOP/stormTrumpers have been wanting to see for awhile now, or so they claim). They were leaving, but that wasn't good enough. If they had been detained, they would have been sent back to a third-world hellhole. At least in Canada they have a fighting chance.

Where have you been? Of course we can. The entire collected works in US Politics would all be in AAH, otherwise. Besides, coming up with clever infantile names for the opposition is the hallmark of an independent mind. That's what I learned from CE earlier.

Republitards, Republickers, Demoncrats, Paulistas, Berntards, Shillaries, Killary, Great Huge Lying Orange Turdblossom,.... All are used regularly. All are within the rules.

(I suspect your post was tongue in cheek; making some obscure point/comparison that I haven't cottoned onto.)

I'd suggest checking them out, but it's like an hour and a half commitment and I'd feel bad if it didn't go well. Plus, I can't think of any that are specifically about people trying to escape justice by fleeing to Canada.
