Bowling Green Massacre

Kellyanne Conway's "Bowling Green Massacre" wasn't one-time slip-up, Cosmo reveals

But now the Trumpers are moving on to gin up the fear mongering with their list of 78 instances of terrorism the news media didn't report on, despite the fact they did.

White House List Contradicts Trump Claim That Terror Attacks Go Unreported
Clearly the idea is to gin up the fear mongering to justify the absurd travel ban the courts have challenged. Get the press talking about all these acts, imply they are worse than what's being reported, be afraid, be very afraid, let daddy Trump protect you from those bad Muslims.

Well the BBC do not support this.

While I hate when anyone gets murdered (and there are obviously exceptions to the following), it's really hard to imagine why any media outlet would offer extensive coverage of incidents were a single person was killed, unless the killing was captured on video or the victim was famous, even if the perpetrator did it to make a political statement...perhaps especially if the perpetrator did it to make a political statement since the coverage makes the murder a success.

No media outlet has the resources to provide in-depth coverage of every murder in the world. Hell, there are local outlets in the US that would have a difficult time providing in-depth coverage of every murder in their own city.

All of which is beside the point since the BBC has pretty clearly proven that virtually every incident did get media coverage, often in-depth coverage.

Our White House liars can't seem to help themselves.

‘My daughter’s death will not be used’: Parents furious over Trump’s false terrorism claims

She*was careful, even then, to write accurately about the*accused killer. Smail Ayad*had yelled*“Allahu akbar” during the attack, the Guardian reported, but he had also rambled*incoherently, stabbed a dog and “was apparently infatuated with” her daughter.

“Much nonsense is being spoken in the press about her alleged killer,” Ayliffe wrote. He “is not an Islamic fundamentalist, he has never set foot in a mosque.”

Likewise, police*ruled out terrorism, and the Ayad murder case was transferred to*a mental-health court.

The sensational*stories eventually faded. The parents*of Mia Ayliffe-Chung and*Tom Jackson mourned*and tried to move on.

You're going to need to be more specific than just data dumping yet another news article covering the Trump claims.

Are you seriously saying the BBC agrees with Trump's claim the news media is underreporting terrorism? Or are you cherry picking some little nit and brushing it broadly over all of Trump's lies on the press coverage?

Unless Planigale didn't read the posted links, I think the post was simply poorly worded. Recommend taking it easy.

What does that mean, "taking it easy"? Me? It was a poorly worded post. That's why I asked for a more specific statement.

The lies coming out of this administration are getting so thick and bizarre, I'm not going to go lightly on Trump apologists.

The odd thing is how hard it is to misspell things these days. Their and there, sure, but if I try to type attacker as A T T A K E R my computer autocorrects. What are they typing this list on?
