General Holocaust denial discussion Part III

Robert Faurisson is facing jail time for his holocaust revisionism in France. This is the same country where Je Suis Charlie became a household term after the Charlie Hebdo killings meaning freedom of expression was here to stay. It's a pity French politicians don't practice what they preach -

You left out what they actually said......oh by the way how come you never complain about the lack of freedom of expression in Hitler's Germany?

Frankly speaking I am not worried at all for Faurisson’s fate. As far I am concerned he could die in prison and this would not make me cry.

This being said it is not the first time Faurisson is found guilty by a French court and has to pay financial penalties. I am therefore not afraid for him: he will find the way to pay them. He just likes to play his role of “victim of the system”. In a very worst case scenario, if he can’t pay I am pretty sure the Iranian government will pay the fines on his behalf.

Beside France, as 13 other European countries, has adopted laws which enforce some limitations to the freedom of speech, notably with respect to dispute of crimes against humanity as defined by the Tribunal of Nuremberg. The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that this kind of limitations is legit and is not an infringement of the European Convention on Human Rights.

Faurisson perfectly knows it and, despite the fact that his “theories” have been thoroughly debunked by knowledgeable historians (which, by the way, he is not), continues to spread his lies denying facts that have been proven well beyond any reasonable doubt.

In total, the two men together are obligated for 22,500 euros as punishment for disputing Jewish claims about history.

By the way the holocaust is not “Jewish claims about history” but an historical fact which has been acknowledged as real by the historians irrespective of their nationality, religious of philosophical beliefs and or any other consideration.

If you look at the bigger scheme of thing, France and the EU's HD laws are really irrelevant. The EU and France in particular is very critical of Israel. France passed an EU resolution calling for the labelling of products manufactured in Israeli settlements, frequently votes against Israel in the UN, and recently tried to host a peace conference.

Much like Germany, French members of Interpol also tried to protect Nazi fugitives from facing Justice.

Really, despite all of Mondial's spamming and complaining, HD laws are a red herring.

I wonder when Mondial will actually post something of substantive value, instead of just spamming.

Given the rabid Jew hatred of the Holocaust deniers, I was always surprised rather than trying to deny the mass murder of millions of Jews, they didn't instead boast about it. What is the agenda behind their denial of reality? is is because they don't want history to see the Nazis for the monsters they were-or do they still want to paint Jews as some kind of bogeymnan, and claim somehow the Nazis were the victims?

The anti-Semitism has resulted in claims the Jews and Israel have made false claims to gain sympathy, compensation and their homeland.

The denialists are Nazi sympathisers, so do not want Nazis to be seen in their true light. They are attracted to a white nation state because they like to think just by being white that makes them better than the rest. When you are stupid, ugly, unable to hold down a decent job and uneducated, racism gives a person a reason to still think they are better than others.

Conspiracy theorists are also attracted to denialism, because they like any CT.

Then there are those who like being outliers who want to imagine they are doing something risky (though deniers in Europe are to an extent due to denial laws) and that makes their dull lives a bit more exciting.

The Observer has published a short piece on how denial has evolved recently, based around an interview with me. (I didn't call myself the UK's foremost expert on denial, that was the journalist, but there are few to no claimants for this title.) The occasion for the story was the forthcoming UK release of the 'Denial' movie about the Irving-Lipstadt trial.

I wasn't sure what angle this would take until I saw the draft (which is basically what you see above), so the interview had covered several themes. I'm especially pleased that I was quoted commenting on the poor comprehension and analysis skills of middle-aged conspiracy theorists:

“They are people who have reached their 40s or 50s and have embraced the internet as it has grown and new platforms have come along. They have moved away from quality newspaper-reading mentality; maybe they’re professionals, some may have degrees, but they are not skilled in assessing sources in history. When you interact with them, you realise that they have no clue as to how we know anything about the past, about how history works, what information is available. They are willing to go along with certain ideas that are summarised for them and simplified in web articles or videos.”

So if nothing else, this ought to severely annoy deniers...

Oh, look. An article written in 2000. And I see Rudolf is still relying on the images taken on August 25th, 1944. Why am I not surprised? Don't you deniers ever get tired of repeating the same old de-bunked crap? How about some up-to-date Scholarship?

Here's an animated gif from photographs taken on August 23rd, 1944. The roll of film was discovered in 2004.

Thanks to Sergey and Hans from HC.

I challenge anyone to see even the slightest wisp of smoke in those pictures!!!

The article is from 2000 because that was the year of the trial. Crematoria are a side issue. The main question revisionists are asking is whether large numbers of people were killed in gas chambers. The Luftl Report -
https://codoh.com/library/document/2383/
and The Rudolf Report -
https://codoh.com/library/book/1827/
prove that this claim is false.
The main criticism of the original Leuchter Report -
https://codoh.com/library/document/1198/
was that Fred Leuchter was not a certified/registered engineer. Walter Luftl was not only a certified/registered engineer he was president of the Austrian engineers association.
David Irving should have used the Luftl and Rudolf Reports in his court case -

More quotes from me in a story about Holocaust denial, this time on HuffPo UK, where I am quoted debunking several specific denier arguments, following on from Deborah Lipstadt reflecting on the 'Denial' movie and comparing HD with 'alternative facts' and fake news.

The Internet Movie Database has a discussion board for holocaust denial. That makes sense. We used to have a moon landing denier that posted on the San Antonio Spurs fan site.

Now there are rumors that a proclamatation mentioned the Jews was drafted, but killed by Steve Bannon.
I think those Jews who are backing Trump because he is supposedly pro Israeli are going to be in for a rude awakening.
