You write that like somebody which does not know that in some of the country cited Shia and Sunny persecuted each other, like Cathos and Protestant did good old time.

But by adding this " minority" and targeting majority muslim country, they simply discriminate against those persecution to allow only the "good" kind of brown people : mostly those not having the muslim religion.

It is so transparent, it could be used as material for windows.

ETA: you are free to tell whatever you want... But if you really liked the first amendment as applied to everybody, you would call them to speak up rather than shut up. Just sayin' free speech is important not for the speech you like, but for the speech you dislike. ASking people to shut up.... Well that certainly leave an after taste.

Giuliani has been quoted as saying -- quite smugly, actually -- that Donald Trump asked him how he could legally keep Muslims out of the country, and Giuliani helped draft Trump's order. However it's phrased, the intent is clearly to keep some Muslims out of the country. Interestingly, the seven banned countries have sent a total of ZERO terrorists to the U.S., while Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Egypt and other countries have produced many. But -- purely by coincidence, no doubt -- Trump has business interests in those countries.

Obama is speaking up because Trump is claiming that the new policy is no different from Obama's. Why do you think Obama should allow Trump to lie about him?

An apt description of anyone complaining that a former President speaks their mind on an issue of importance surely?

I'd be very interested to hear what George Bush (either of them) thinks of Trump's recent actions.

I'd be interested to hear anyone defend them who can form a coherent sentence which contains a point rather than vapidity, ignorance and childishness.

I'm still waiting.

The executive order on immigration does not discriminate against individuals because of their faith or religion. It discriminates based on their country of origin. That's a pretty big difference.

I predicted that the former narcissist-in-chief wouldn't be able to keep silent. Doesn't matter though. It won't take long for people to tune him out. They were already doing it for the last year anyway.

You tuned him out years ago. As for the general public I think you are DELUSIONAL. Obamaa's favorables are almost double Trump's and this will probably be a high point in his administration. Trump has very little support for his unconstitutional Muslim ban. That Giuliani has said that Trump asked him how to make a Muslim ban and that he is favoring Christians is a blatant disregard of the establishment clause.

Trump is a loon and he keeps proving it.

We're going off-topic, but Obama lied about what Bush did in Iraq. He lied about the Status of Forces Agreement, first taking credit for bugging out of Iraq in 2011, and then claiming that he had no choice because had to honor Bush's agreement.

He lied about what Bush had accomplished with respect to Iran's nuclear program, blaming him for Iran acquiring centrifuge technology, even though Bush's administration through its pressure on and subsequent deal with Qaddafi was able to unravel the A Q Khan nuclear tech smuggling network (which was responsible for giving Iran centrifuge tech).

He lied about the Fast and Furious program beginning under Bush.

I could go on for pages if I bring up stuff related to the economy, the financial crisis, financial regulation, and taxes.

I think most of the American public likes the idea of Obama, but not so much the reality of him. His approval ratings always rose when he was out of the news, and they dropped when he was doing his usual condescending blather on TV. His approval ratings are only high because Trump and Clinton sucked all of the attention away from him.

More Alternative Facts.

At best you can say that he started out with better approval rates and that because of 9/11 he had a far better 1st term and thus overall 8 year average. He certainly didn't end with better ratings, and his second term average was below Obama's worst ever rating, at just 37%. In fact as of Feb 12th 2006, GWB dropped below 40% and never got back above it again in the next two years.

9/11 distorted his overall average by creating an artificial peak that took a year to decay.

Obama's lowest rating average was 40%. GWB's was 25%

On leaving office Obama had an approval rating of 59%, including 14% of Republicans and 61% of Independents. His difference between disapprove and approve was +22%.

GWB had one of just 34% approval with only 6% of Democrats and 28% of Independents. His difference was -27%.

Even with their own party Obama does better then GWB. Obama leaves with 95% approval from Democrats while GWB left with just 75% approval of Republicans.

B-but i thought Obama was the worst US president ever and no one "respected" America thanks to him? So who cares if Trump turns the US into an international pariah that other countries and their leaders only deal with by necessity.

Besides America has nukes! It has aircraft carriers! They don't need anyone (expect Israel of course). If they don't like Trump the rest of the world should fear him and his might!

Besides the obvious fact that there are different strands of Islam that have a tendency to dislike each-other to the point of violence another great example is the ex-soviet states in central asia. These have a Muslim majority population yet their leaders are highly intolerant towards devout Muslims and essentially see them as a gateway drug to Islamism and terrorism. By having a long beard, wearing a veil or otherwise displaying your religious convictions in public they risk being government persecution.
