No, she very often out and out lies. She just talks so fast with mostly diversions some of her lies are missed.

Alternative "facts", for example is a lie, unless you want to redefine what a fact is.

Conway says dishonest crap about Trump all the time. Like this:
Maddow began the conversation by talking about Trump's lies about ABC journalist Martha Raddatz,

Today she said the same thing about Trump having great respect for the CIA. That's a lie and surely she knows it.

What sets Conway apart is that none of her lies are provably false. Does Trump have respect for the CIA? That is unfortunately a mere matter of opinion. Were there a million people on the mall? Certainly not.

That's the difference between Conway and Spicer. She's a lot cleverer than he is.

That said, I really loathe her.

Nonsense, and Conway was called on the CIA respect claim today, presented with evidence of all the statements of disrespect Trump had recently made, including calling the CIA akin to Nazis.

If Trump says the news media lies one day and the next day he claims he has the utmost respect for the news media, that's just bull. If you choose to call that unprovable, that's being silly.

She couldn't even keep a straight face calling Spicer's lies, "alternative facts".

If I walk up and punch you, and you do not retaliate because I'm half your size and drunk that does not mean you consented to being punched. It means you choose to take no action after you took the punch. You most certainly would have preferred not to be punched, but do to the circumstances you do not feel the need for further action.

I guess everybody's piling on you -- sorry! -- but do we know the groping was consensual? I don't think we do. What could a woman do exactly? If it was a production assistant back stage who did the groping he probably gets slapped or the woman complains to management. When it's a mega-celebrity they know they don't have much recourse unless Trump gets completely out of control.

Most women would consider being groped that way to be humiliating. If you don't believe me, ask one. ;)

I don't think Trump cares if people hate him. I think he does care if people laugh at him (because of Conway and Spicer). That will be his unhingeing.

No, a punch happens too fast. If someone gropes you, you have the option of pushing the hand away, objecting verbally, or punching the *******. None of these behaviors fall into the category of "they let you". If someone sucker punches you, you didn't let them do it, they just did it.

I personally don't have enough information to know if the groping was consensual , just that Trump claims it was consensual. As to what could be the recourse, all the women I know would slap the guy, bigshot or not.

Except there are women who accuse Trump of doing precisely what he said he does. IIRC one of those accusations pre-dated the video.
