OK.
So now we have him saying he had inside information about the Russian hacking thing.

If he had inside information, why didn't he tell the FBI?

How is that in any way not treason?
I don't think that's what he said.

He said (from the video and multiple news sources), "I know a lot about hacking."

[Of course you do Mr T.]

"And hacking is a very hard thing to prove. So it could be somebody else. And I also know things that other people don’t know, and so they cannot be sure of the situation."

That's pretending he has secret information. He never says what inside it came from. The only thing you can be sure won't happen, follow up on his boast that he'll reveal (or we'll find out) said information in 2 or 3 days.

"I also know things that other people don't know"

If that's true, and he didn't tell the FBI, that's treason. WTF is the question here?

Do you really need to be led through this?

By you?

Oh hell yes. I need a good laugh.

FYI, the "he's not serious" defense doesn't make it much better.

Oh. I know. The "russians didn't do it" defense. No doubt bolstered by that raving liberal Mitch McConnell, who is equally confident that they're guilty.

Oh, I so wish I'd seconded this at the time. I was planning to post that "One thing that I am 100% certain of is that he would provide no information regarding this "on Tuesday or Wednesday".

I think Trump is only interested in becoming President of the United States, rather than being President. He will find a way to avoid setting up a blind trust until after Inauguration, stay in office just long enough to issue dozens of Executive Orders, then resign. I'm talking days.

It's his standard mode of operation. Says something will be done and then never keeps the promise, we are still waiting for the press conference about his wife's apparent illegal immigrant working, about his blind trust and I'm sure there are more. For some reason he just isn't held to account.

And as soon as the audit is complete...

ftfy

I don't see him resigning. Would be nice, but I don't see him admitting he can't do the job. I agree though he's going to rule recklessly by delegation.

On another note, the news media is still unable to call Trump what he is, a pathological narcissist. It explains all his behavior. For example, the media is now wringing their hands wondering what it will take for Trump to accept the FBI assessment Russia was behind the hacks.

Dear Media, you don't get it. He will never admit Putin interfered in the election because that is an admission Trump didn't win fair and square and he cannot accept that truth.

It's really that simple.

What makes you qualified to say so? It's not exactly controversial to say that evaluating the subject in person is considered critical to a proper diagnosis.

Also, I had a media fast for while, went back to see what outrageous crap Trump had said, and CNN really did just seem to be doing straight-up reporting. Its alarmist edge is off somewhat and I hope I see a news organization dedicated to providing fair and informed coverage of a controversial president.

Putting some thinking to it, I would imagine he's been briefed on these things. Tomorrow he's getting the latest info on it from James Clapper.

After lying about the briefing being delayed.

He's not a good person, logger, he's really not.

Sums it up.

US Vice-President Joe Biden has told President-elect Donald Trump to "grow up" and criticised his attacks on the intelligence community.

On Friday, Mr Trump will be briefed on allegations Russia meddled in the US presidential election - claims he has cast doubt on.

Mr Biden said it was "absolutely mindless" for the president-elect not to have faith in intelligence agencies.

For a president not to have confidence in, not to be prepared to listen to, the myriad intelligence agencies, from defence intelligence to the CIA, is absolutely mindless," he said*in an interviewwith the PBS network.

"The idea that you may know more than the intelligence community knows - it's like saying I know more about physics than my professor. I didn't read the book, I just know I know more."

When asked what he thought of Mr Trump's regular attacks on Twitter, Mr Biden said: "Grow up Donald, grow up, time to be an adult, you're president. Time to do something. Show us what you have."

Trump has now announced that the US will pay for the border wall, and Mexico will be billed for reimbursement.

President-elect Donald Trump's transition team has signaled to congressional Republican leaders that his preference is to fund the border wall through the appropriations process as soon as April, according to House Republican officials.
Trump defended that proposal Friday morning in a tweet, saying the move to use congressional appropriations was because of speed.
"The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later!" Trump tweeted Friday.

It's a little ironic, given his history of not paying his own bills, that Trump expects them to pay the bill with no difficulty.

And his supporters will now blame Mexico for the US wasting 60 billion on a wall...
