I believe it was sloppily worded and that in their rush to celebrate evangelically, they didn't pay attention to the wording. Christians hear at Christmas every year that we're celebrating the arrival of the king. It's a common enough line. It's considered symbolic to re-announce his arrival every year and renew your devotion. I doubt they intended to coronate Trump.

The fundie backlash will be zero. Not even all those people here who accused the Dems of hailing Obama as the new messiah. They don't care about the issue; they care about making points against the other guy.

(Should there be some dentist in Okmulgee looking at that picture and commenting on Trump's palsied little hand? Surely signs of advancing Parkinson's Disease. Or do all those phony diagnosticians only work for the GOP?)
