Are all Trump supporters racists?

This makes it clear what Trump supporters mean by, "Take America Back" and "Make America Great Again,"

Take it back from those uppity ******* who are gettno stuff they don't deserve.

White supremacy has always been popular in America.

I could have told you this immediately, since a rather large number of white Americans are perfectly happy to say it directly to my face, and to the faces of other black people I know, facts be damned.

Community rorschach, 2016 edition. You can play too-- just blurt random gibberish.

LOL

I was reading another article and mixed up the link I pasted, my bad, I fixed it AND apologized for the error. I'll quickly admit it if I'm wrong. Chris B.

The lawsuit is as stupid as is the display of a cross on public property.

It's just an example of one guy that has a thing about Christians and their stupid holiday. Looks like he's been damaged by the display and seeks a monetary settlement for his pain and suffering.......

What does it hurt to let them have a decoration on top of their Christmas tree? Nothing.
Chris B.

Yep, and as soon as you get rid of the establishment clause, you may establish your state religion.

Funny you should mention it. I feel a change coming about how Christmas is viewed in this Country........and something about decorations......

Removing it hurts no one either. Plus, it respects the constitution. "There shall forever be a wall of separation . . ."

ETA: As a compromise, I'd be willing to finance a big-ass, backlit, red A right next to that cross.

How the **** could it change? It starts at halloween now.

And who gives a **** about decorations? I put them up all the time. The cross is a christian symbol and as such implicitly endorses that religion.

And this is hardly a war, but a bb-shot across the bow. Christians are used to getting everything their way and cry in the exact manner of safe-spacers when they don't get it. Christmas is everywhere in this country for months, Jesus Christ quit whining.

Nice Huffington Post piece. I don't believe we'll ever be rid of racism as long as we keep pointing out everyone's skin color. Chris B.

Oddly enough, many people have no issue noticing skin color, and also not thinking in terms of crass stereotypes. All it requires is, you know, not being a hateful dullard.

LOL I think Christmas deserves a little Constitutional protection. I don't think it'll be that extreme though. Perhaps the folks in Indiana could negotiate that a big red "A" replace the cross on top of their tree?

I'm not whining about it. It's always some jerk to do stuff like that in Indiana though. I'm just pointing out that stuff like this is why Christians feel targeted. As for me, I wouldn't mind if someone wanted a Christmas potato on display downtown, I wouldn't feel "damaged" but that's me.

When you separate individuals by skin color, you're promoting racism.

Added: With the way you describe it would seem ok to have people sew little stars on their sleeves as well, you know as long as you're not being a hateful dullard......

It is protected. One can celebrate all one wants. The gummint stays out of it.

You are still whining about it. Christians can feel "targeted" all they want, but the truth is they're whimpering about nothing more than not getting their way all the time everywhere.

They always make some sort of stink somewhere around Christmas about decorations or the like. It's really childish and anti-Christian and that's the thing.
Of course everyone is free to choose whether or not they believe in any certain way. If someone wants to worship a potato, as long as they don't hurt anyone, let them. Don't tell them they can't have their potato decoration celebrating potato day because it offends you. Tolerate it as they tolerate your right to NOT worship or celebrate Saint Idaho. Chris B.

I think the only complaints are about publicly funded displays. This does affect the atheist, because it's taking their tax dollars to promote one religion over others. It's state interference in the freedom of religion.

When you separate individuals by skin color, you're promoting racism.

I see this a lot. It doesn't follow, and it's mostly in the same vein as claiming that "I don't see color". Unless you literally see in grays only, or are blind, it's a false statement. And a lot of people fight racism using explicit references to race (eg. Black Lives Matter, the Civil Rights movement, runaway slaves, abolitionists, anti-lynching activists).

Now, it may be true that *you* can't think about race without acting in a racist matter, but that would be your failing, not anyone else's.

Or, say, a pink triangle. But since skin color is not something most of us simply choose, this is a false analogy.
