You recently attacked a whole group of people (a heterogenous cross section of the population) of having pathological tendencies just because they have read the court records and have concluded the kids are likely guilty. This suggests to me a latent tendency in the more rabid PIP of deeply pathological issues themself. No doubt, some are ex-convicts who've had run-ins with the police or prison officers and therefore harbour a deep fear and hatred of anyone they perceive to be 'authority'. This tendency is manifested in over the top streams of hysterical invective towards anyone who upholds decent values and a civilised society. Such individuals will slavishly claim obvious killers (such as Steven Avery et al and the kids) are just poor picked upon individuals, persecuted by bully boy cops. Some will have deeply disturbing issues which manifests themselves in outpourings of vile anonymous postings, designed to degrade others who disagree with them.

Let me give you some advice: don't go spouting fantasy educational achievements and qualifications on this thread as some sort of attempt at intellectual oneupmanship, and then you won't run the risk of having them exposed as confabulations and inflations.

Sorry, I consider it incredibly rude of anonymous individuals bringing up personal issues, which I haven't brought up first myself. Someone came on here recently taking the p!ss out of me on various claims made by others. Who gives a toss about Mensa; it is merely a social club, yet the PIP never tire of spewing it up as some kind of an insult.

There is nothing fake about it. It is the best collection of court documents and records from the case in existence. The other side <fx crucifix and garlic> are quite happy to filch the translations meticulously undertaken by the dedicated volunteers. The site was set up in that format due to Friends of Amanda Knox hijacking the wikipedia page and deliberately changing and distorting any facts that are incriminating of their heroes.

The summaries having been written by individuals who are determined to find justice for the family of Meredith Kercher and present the unadulterated truth of the matter, inevitably are going to reflect the opinion of the writer. However, all of the original documents referred to in the summaries are cross-referenced in the supporting footnotes.

It has had a massive take up rate on the internet with over 100K views per diem at key moments in the case. It is widely used as a first-class reference point for journalists and lawyers researching the case.

What it is NOT, is an 'opinion forum'. That is the function of PMF and TJMK. Sadly, it has had to be safeguarded from the hooligans who egregiously have 'edited' wikipedia to present their heroes in a good light.

There was a back and forth, and then Jimbo Wales got involved (wikipedia founder), and unequivocally found that the PGP, being incredibly unstable, were trying to alter and distort the facts of the case. So he locked in its current neutral state so the PGP could not use the real wikipedia site to further their lies and propaganda.

This is why you guys had to create a separate wikipedia page, because you got locked out of the real wikipedia.

Related question: from your fake wiki page -- can you please show me where there are links to all of the scientific articles related to the forensics in this case? Because I don't believe they are on there. I would have thought a true linguist would be fascinated by dialects and origin of languages. My late aunt was sought out by PhD linguists as she had a perfect grasp of her local dialect and was the source for extensive quotes and sayings for the area. (For example, 'No farm hand ever complained about the porridge being too thick.' in her local dialect.)

A friend gave me a whole book on Wiltshire dialect.

I think the whole physics? discussion was started in an attempt to determine how the glass shard could have obtained enough energy to embed itself in the inner shutter. I had always assumed the shard just got caught between a rock and a semi-hard place when the rock hit the inner shutter. No need for the shard to have any extraordinary velocity.

The appeal (or second grade) trial began in November 2010, presided over by Judges Claudio Pratillo Hellmann and Massimo Zanetti. A court-ordered review of the contested DNA evidence by independent experts noted numerous basic errors in the gathering and analysis of the evidence, and concluded that no evidential trace of Kercher's DNA had been found on the alleged murder weapon.[87][88] Although the review confirmed the DNA fragments on the bra clasp included some from Sollecito, an expert testified that the context strongly suggested contamination.[89][90][91][92]

On 3 October 2011, Knox and Sollecito were acquitted. A ruling that there was insufficient proof, similar to the verdict of not proven, was available to the court, but the court acquitted Knox and Sollecito completely.[93] The conviction of Knox on a charge of slander of Patrick Lumumba was upheld, and the original one-year sentence was increased to three years and eleven days' imprisonment.[94][95][96]

In their official report on the court's decision to overturn the convictions, the appeal trial judges wrote that the verdict of guilty at the original trial "was not corroborated by any objective element of evidence". Describing the police interviews of Knox as of "obsessive duration", the judges said that the statements she made incriminating herself and Lumumba during interrogation were evidence of her confusion while under "great psychological pressure".[97] The judges further noted that a tramp who had testified to seeing Sollecito and Knox in the Piazza Grimana on the night of the murder was a heroin addict; that Massei, the judge at the 2009 trial, had used the word "probably" 39 times in his report; and that there was no evidence of any phone calls or texts between Knox or Sollecito, and Guede.[98][99][100][101]
New trial[edit]
Following a successful prosecution request, there was a rehearing of Knox and Sollecito's second-level trial. The only new evidence came from the court-ordered analysis of a previously unexamined sample of the blade of Sollecito's kitchen knife,[clarification needed] which the prosecution had alleged was the murder weapon.[102][103] When the unexamined sample was tested by court-appointed experts for the new appeal trial, no DNA belonging to Kercher was found. Despite the negative result for the prosecution case, the court returned verdicts of guilty against the defendants, who both appealed.[104][105][106]

Acquittal of murder charge[edit]
On 27 March 2015, Italy's highest court, the Court of Cassation, ruled that Knox and Sollecito were innocent of murder, thereby definitively ending the case.[107][108][109][110] Rather than merely declaring that there were errors in the earlier court cases or that there was insufficient evidence to convict, the court ruled that Knox and Sollecito had not committed the murder and were innocent of those charges, but it upheld Knox's conviction for slandering Patrick Lumumba.[109][111]

After this verdict was announced, Knox, who had been in the United States continuously since 2011, said in a statement: "The knowledge of my innocence has given me strength in the darkest times of this ordeal."[112][113]

In September 2015, the delegate Supreme Judge, Court adviser Mr. Gennaro Marasca, made public the reasons of absolution. First, none of the evidence demonstrated that either Knox or Sollecito were present at the crime scene. Second, they cannot have "materially participated in the homicide", since there were absolutely no "biological traces that could be attributed to them in the room of the murder or on the body of the victim, where in contrast numerous traces were found attributable to Guede".[114]

Whilst you, as a PIP might welcome a 'whitewashing', can you seriously put your hand on your heart and say you want wikipedia articles to be completely devoid of the true facts and a revision of history.
