Do draw me a diagram of Rudy throwing this 4kg multishaped object 10 feet in a straight line three feet above his head, as we could do with some jolly good entertainment.![]()
1) What is a "multishaped" object? How can any object even be "multishaped"? Did you mean, perhaps, to write "irregularly-shaped"? And regardless, how would an irregularly-shaped object differ, for the purposes of any calculations, from a round ball of the same mass?
2) Why does the object need to be thrown in a "straight line"? Who dictated that requirement?
3) Why is the aiming point (here, Romanelli's window) "three feet above (Guede's) head"? Aren't you aware that it's perfectly possible (and logically far more likely) that Guede threw the rock while standing at the edge of the parking parapet, meaning that his throwing arm was effectively level in height with Romanelli's window? You weren't aware of that?
Come back to me with proper answers to those questions, which a) make sense, and b) are actually consistent with the laws of physics, and I'll explain to you the equations governing Guede's rock throw. I have little confidence that you'll be able to understand those equations, but nonetheless I'll provide them. You're welcome.
