Actually, looking at the lumber futures market, I think their GDP will rise far quicker than ours.Well the UK will beat Liberland (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberland) but then they don't have any actual people.
I know that the remoaners like to use pessimistic forecasts as though they were facts. Whenever reality proves them wrong they choose to ignore it.
We've got a problem. In America the revolution is total. Not only have the people spoken and won, but the old administration, Obama and all those ghastly people, are out and the Trump people are in."
"In this country, the people have spoken, but the same players have just been shuffled around the chess board and we are still being run by the career professional political class.
I am not sure what is going to happen over the course of the next couple of years but I suspect there's another big seismic shock in British politics perhaps going to come at the next election.
I suspect that the Conservative Party is not fit for the legacy of Brexit. I suspect there is going to be a genuine realignment of British politics over the course of the next three or four years.
It is unfinished business - the people have spoken but the establishment don't want to listen. There are great battles to be fought and I'm going to go on fighting those battles."
Don't be downhearted. Tony Blair's returning to public life to fill the gap left by Nige.Farage ... I thought he was going to withdraw from public life?
I simply cannot get my head around any line of thought that ends with 'Farage, that's a good idea'.

What do people see in him? I know it's something, something that my poor little brain can't process, but I just don't get it.
"you want to retire in a monastery with a vow of silence for the rest of your life ? Farage, that's a good idea"
EU leaders are not "bluffing" when they say the UK will be left without access to the single market when it leaves the bloc if there is no free movement of people, Malta's prime minister says.
Joseph Muscat, whose country assumes the EU's presidency in January, told the BBC "this is really and truly our position and I don't see it changing".
Well actually "Great work, the subset of the 52% who voted Brexit who thought that's what we would be getting"
So if Teresa May can't offer up a plan that accords with the will of those people, shouldn't MPs be allowed to vote down Brexit?
Does this proposal look as crazy to other readers as it does to me?
I'm getting one of these as well. But the idea that citizens can pay as individuals to opt in to treaties with other countries, that their government doesn't want the country to enter into, seems very odd indeed. I've literally never thought of that. Any precedents?I like the idea, but I can't see the EU parliament allowing it. Mind you, I have an Irish passport so I can keep EU citizenship anyway.
