Oh, it can be. Against Hillary, there isn't much so it didn't really work. Against Trump, there is plenty but the media has downplayed all of his failings. However, it is working enough for Hillary to win the election.

May we ask the same thing? Have you never heard of a metaphor? A figure of speech? Or does "pull it" always mean the same thing?
