The ghostwriter for "The Art of The Deal" laments Trump's 200-word vocabulary. I think this is hyperbole; if you count articles, conjunctions, prepositions and pronouns I'm sure he knows more than 200 words. He can name at least 4 countries and has mastered a few more proper names, such as those of close family members.

I also want to see how long it takes to get to 200 if such words are excluded and will contribute five.

- grab
- bitch
- pussy
- huge
- disaster

He has a yuuuge vocabulary. The best vocabulary.

When he gets elected, there'll be so many great words, we'll get tired of them!

here is a bunch:

I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Evidence?

Ohh.. We're playing that game!

How about:

I, Donald J Trump, name this country Trump Land, and declare myself dictator for life!

Though I suspect he is incapable of pronouncing some of those words.

And Donnie has demonstrated that he does not really understand a lot of the constitution......

We're only up to 8 words Donald demonstrably knows. Though I started this thread somewhat tongue in cheek I am now genuinely curious about how much of a working vocabulary he has.

- nasty
- woman
- smart
- very
- weapons

"I don't know I didn't read it."

"Our politicians are stupid. And the Mexican government is much smarter, much sharper, much more cunning. And they send the bad ones over because they don't want to pay for them. They don't want to take care of them. Why should they when the stupid leaders of the United States will do it for them?"

"I think the big problem this country has is being politically correct. I've been challenged by so many people, and I don't frankly have time for total political correctness. And to be honest with you, this country doesn't have time either."

"One thing about television, it brings out personality. People are able to watch me in action. They hear my voice and see my eyes. There's nothing I can hide. That's me. Television brings out your flaws, your weaknesses, your strengths, and you truths. The audience either likes you or it doesn't."

I think he knows more than 200 words, but he does repeat them a lot.

... I think he knows more than 200 words, but he does repeat them a lot.

He does and it drives me nuts.
I'm not sure if it's "place-holding" as he crafts his next bleat or if he uses it intentionally as some technique to impress his message on his marks followers.

I'm leaning toward the former.

Any chance someone has done one of those "word cloud" thingies of his public speeches?
