The Clintons were twelve generations away from being a twinkling in their daddies' collective eyes when political corruption got its start. Sadly, it is lost on a lot of people. Not many of them are here, but enough of them are in America that I am once again underconfident that we can avoid a Donald Trump presidency.

The Project Veritas videotapes have proved beyond the shadow of a doubt paid political operatives will do everything they legally can do to get their person elected, and they will in some cases push the limits of that legality, especially when it comes to nitpicky regulations. This comes on top of the WikiLeaks revelations, which have revealed that political staffers look at everything through the prism of electoral politics.

And meanwhile we have new revelations that provide proof positive, beyond all doubt, that Hillary Clinton sent emails while she was Secretary of State.

With all this proof, what more do you need? Or something.

I fear for my country that this is the stuff of modern American political campaigns.
