I think it will move the polls. We are talking voters on the fence, and most of these people are working more from emotion. They are balancing Trump being an awful person against the belief that Hillary is a corrupt liar. This will move the needle for those people.

The news cycle thing is the biggie. If the Hillary campaign or anyone else has any really nasty anti-Trump surprises in reserve, expect them to be rolled out tomorrow. Of course, there is a healthy chance Trump will be an idiot and hijack his own positive news cycle by saying or doing something really stupid.

He also said he was matching donations to his campaign. He gave $31,000 of in kind contributions in October and no cash. I doubt this happens.

I don't think there's much fence sitting on the emails. People have pretty much made their minds up on it. Depending on the coverage, without more meat on the bone it won't be much of a story for long. A tick or 2? Maybe. Not much movement though.

And that's how I would handle things. Trump is already calling the FBI honorable, compared to 2 weeks ago he was saying they corrupt. I'd beat him over the head with this to deflect away. Show it as his say-anything-no-matter-the-truth policy he adopts. Beyond that, keep the story where it is; they're "looking". Big deal!
 
We also have some "Oh my god! the election is lost" reactions from some on the left. Overreactions on both sides.
 
Stock Market took a dive when news of the new FBI probe bork. An example of what the Business community thinks of a Trump Presidency.

One of my coworkers, who has not yet figured out that I don't support Trump as he does (because as a professional person I never discuss politics at work) was ecstatic at the news. He's convinced this is the last-minute miracle to suddenly change every Clinton supporter's mind.

UPDATE: Get this: it's apparently got something to do with Anthony Weiner's teen sext stuff.

Federal law enforcement officials said Friday that the new emails uncovered in the closed investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server were discovered after the F.B.I. seized electronic devices belonging to Huma Abedin, a top aide to Mrs. Clinton, and her husband, Anthony Weiner.

The F.B.I. is investigating illicit text messages that Mr. Weiner sent to a 15-year-old girl in North Carolina.

Trump and his lackeys are praising the FBI now. They didn't even bother to note that the emails aren't from Hillary or her server. They will go back to implying they are part of the cover up in a day or two.
