Trump runs for POTUS/ Trumped Up! Part VII

CNBC Poll today has Clinton up by 9 points. Two days ago, the AP poll had Clinton up by 13.

11 days to go. Why am I nervous? I figured it out. A creep like Trump is running.

This is normal statiscal Noise. I know you would be happy if Trump had Zero chance but that is not happening.
Go to Nate Silver website for reassurance.

Makes me nervous too although I understand what you are saying about statistical noise. In any case, I will be in Quebec on vacation during and after the election if the revolution does happen.

He mentions similar odds as for Russian Roulette.

So then: Democrats have nothing to worry about, right? Nope, we wouldn’t say that, either. The race could easily tighten further. And our forecast gives Trump better odds than most other models because it accounts for the possibility of a systemic polling error, a greater risk than people may assume. A 16 percent chance of a Trump presidency isn’t nothing — as we’ve pointed out before, it’s about the same as the chances of losing a “game” of Russian roulette. And 15 percent is about the same chance we gave the San Antonio Spurs of beating the Golden State Warriors last night — the Spurs won by 29 points.

I am not sure that is so reassuring.

I know. I just want it to be over.

If it is upsetting you, maybe you should just take a break from it until a couple of days before the election. Agonzing over every poll that comes out accomplihes nothing except making yourself unhappy.

I agree, but I'm a junkie. I'd be jonesing for a fix way too quickly. It's like watching my Huskies play football. I love watching the games but I can't relax until it's in the bag. GO DAWGS!

Im hoping to spend New Year's Day in Glendale.

That it is pure speculation and largely irrelevant to the election?

It's unnecessary to discuss such seedy speculation. What is the point? In what way is this consistent with skepticism?

How is it better than using a video of Hillary with an odd waggle of the head to speculate that she has a neurological disorder?

Is it possible that Trump has engaged in incest? Sure. Is it plausible? That's a matter of opinion based on fairly indirect evidence. Is it necessary to discuss this in order to show that Trump is unfit? Obviously not.
If Donald doesn't want people to think that he may have had an incestuous relationship with his daughter, he had the option of not admitting to being a sexual predator and not talking about her the way he does.

Donald Trump may have ********** his daughter.

“And just thinking to myself right now, we should just cancel the election and just give it to Trump, right? What are we even having it for? What are we having it for?” he asked. “Her policies are so bad. Boy, do we have a big difference.”

His tax plan is so much better that we should just throw away our 200+ years of democracy and appoint him President? Who is his tax plan better for? I used the Market Watch income tax calculator for average income tax under President Hillary Clinton or under Donald-in-Chief for a working class family of four. Hubby makes $40,000 a year, wife $25,000, two kids, no itemized deductions. The results:

  • Under President Clinton: Tax remains the same as now - $895
  • Under President Trump: Tax increases $305 - $1,200

Try it and see.

But rich people would get a big tax break under Trump and making sure that rich people get richer is obviously the number one job of the President (if he's a Republican).

Now I'm really beginning to agree with those who say he's deliberately sabotaging his own campaign because he doesn't want to win. What's the alternative? Insanity?

Steve S

He doesn't think that this will be all over the media?

Donald has no idea what he said. To me, it looks like he has the civics understanding of a third grader. He thinks he's talking tough, but he's flipping a finger at every single thing that makes America Great in the first place.

I protest. A great many Third Graders have a better understanding of how the government works then Donald does......

Yes, that's nice. I'm sure this argument will help defeat Trump, and isn't a bit of dirty-minded wishful thinking at all.

Good show, Tony. Way to sink down to or below Trump's level. (In fairness, you are not running for President, so it's not as big a deal.)

There are so many things wrong with Trump that you don't have make questionable charges to assure his defeat.
