Trump runs for POTUS/ Trumped Up! Part VII

I was watching that rally on Fox. Directly before the rally, Fox commented on how many people were there. The first thing Trump said was about how he was watching Fox before his speech and that Fox was commenting on how small his crowd was. The man runs from the truth like a plague.

That's just weird, and yet more evidence of Trump's neurological problems.

The plan is to vote for Trump, and he will keep the current political establishment from causing them to not have jobs. The exact mechanism is not something that is worried about.
We saw just the same phaenomenon here in the UK, with steel areas such as Middlesborough and South Wales voting to leave the EU. The particular irony (so to speak) is that the EU tried to put anti-dumping tariffs on Chinese steel but the move was vetoed by the UK. The UK leaving is doing the European steel industry a favour.

Frankly, that's kinda lame. I'll bet everyone on this board has an emotional linkage to their chosen candidate.
I hate Trump with a passion : does that count?

My rational side always has oversight, and in this case has cleared the emotion. I hate him for good reason.

This certainly gives credence to the "Donald knows he is going down, blames the GOP for not supporting him enough, and is determined to take as many GOPers in Congress down with him" theory.

i sincerely wish him luck in that.

The Orange Menace is opening his hotel, Pence is in Utah because it's a battleground state now, the campaign manager is working on her narrative and his surrogates are launching White Nationalist Entertainment Television. How hasn't the RNC dropped him like a bad habit already?

They needed him for fundraising and they don't want to piss off the deplorables?

He's done with that.

He offers nothing but his status as an albatross at this point.
Yeah. I saw. But he was raising money for them before. And I think they still get a cut of online fundraising.

Probably the biggest reason they don't dump him now is that they don't want to piss off the deplorables.

Priebus..by all accounts. He is strongly opposed to any strategy that basically concedes the White House to the Dems.

They need to stop treating their base like they're swing voters. Who else are the deplorables going to vote for?

And the Dems are having a minor controversy: The DNC's decision to severly cut the funds going to the Senate Race in Florida is coming under fire...with Bill Clinton one of the criticis of the decisions. Would not be surprised if Hilary is convinced to send some money to the Florida Senate race.

If the GOP establishment pissed them off enough, some of them might only vote on the top of the ticket. I have even seen some of them threaten to vote for Democrats down ballot to punish the GOP.

This would be a stupid voting strategy, but they're stupid.

Only stupid if you identify as Republican; I think many of the deplorables identify primarily as Trumpists. If Trump repudiates the GOP and wants them harmed (he's notoriously vindictive) the thing to do is vote against them. If the GOP repudiates Trump he'll just say "No, you're repudiated" to the same effect.
