Trump runs for POTUS/ Trumped Up! Part VII

Yes, The Election is Being Stolen

Erik Erickson said:
Texas is now a toss up state. Georgia is too. Utah, the most Republican state in the nation, is now going third party. Evan McMullin is now officially ahead there. Arizona, another seriously Republican state, looks like it is going Democrat too.

Yes, I think it is time to take seriously the accusations that the Clinton machine is stealing the election. There is no way those solidly Republican states should be going Democrat.

...

Only 9% of Americans chose Trump and Clinton as the major party nominees. The one is a repeat donor of the other. Trump endorsed Hillary Clinton over both John McCain and Barack Obama in 2008. He has given to her campaign repeatedly. He defended Bill Clinton in the 90’s against Paula Jones, et al.

Trump decided to get into the Republican race, build up an online army of trolls to make it look like he had massive support, then intentionally sabotage the race to hand it to his friend Hillary Clinton.

LOL

I am guessing that the former steel mill workers might believe that the Democrats made deals with China which gave the Chinese steel makers economic advantages over US steel makers. They might think that Trump is capable of undoing these lopsided deals, thus making US steel economically viable. They might also have followed the Republican Party's incessant drum beat of "we have too many job-killing regulations." These unemployed skilled laborers would then conclude that pulling back on OSHA, MSHA, and the EPA (along with admitting that global warming is not serious) will significantly add to the industry's coming profitability.

I can sympathize with them. So many political and economic leaders praise globalization and gush about how each country involved will be made better. These leaders seldom point out that while each country as a whole is measureably better, very specific segments are measureably worse. And as these unemployed families find themselves more and more dependant on their relatives, their churches, and their communities, it becomes harder and harder for them to move to another state and start a new career.

They are frustrated. Trump offers hope. Even if he is a con artists who seldom delivers on his promises, he is the one acknowledging their pain and disappointment.
Despite the fact that Trump construction has used Chinese steel (and aluminium)?

Hey look! One of the few times I have had to defend Trump this election!

This line of attack doesn't make sense.the whole point of changing policy is that people respond to incentives created by policies and changing those policies will change behavior. This repeated notion in American politics that policy proposals must come from people not responding to current policy incentives is incredibly stupid.

I can't wait to see what gets filmed that wasn't supposed to.

I have a feeling that Ivanka's in charge of this one and she's protecting Trumpkitsch, their brand. They may allow some upper crust types from his supporters' ranks... People named Trump, backers, "quality spokestrash", etc... but I doubt they want to see the Trump That Bitch Confederate Flag Wearing irregulars that he thrives on. They're not exactly going to inspire people who are ready to drop $700 a night on a standard room.

OTOH, maybe Melania could set up a little booth with her QVC folks to sell that tacky crap she makes. The irregulars are probably her best customers.

Am I the only one who thinks an old post office isn't the fanciest image for a grand hotel? What are his other hotels like?

Trump Grand Resplendent - Old Railway Station
Trump Magnifico - Decrepit Slaughterhouse
Trump Renaissance Excelsior Palace Hotel - Beatdown Tarpaper Shack Village
Trump Hotel Brilliante - Abandoned 1890s Asylum

It's actually a kind of impressive neoclassical building right next to Union Station and a short walk to Capitol Hill. It's also in one of the most anti Trump cities in the country. When your name is your brand, it makes very little sense to make a many people hate your name.

Trump is worse than a racist. He believes in eugenics. He thinks he is inherently superior to everyone.

I think it is hilarious how Trump surrogates are saying that Trump is leading now disavowing Conway. While most pundits are predicting 350 to 400 electoral votes.

You learn so much from their schedules, sometimes. Tonight there's a standing room only rally (because they're not putting up chairs) in the cow pasture next to the Tallahassee Automobile Museum.

When you check out their website, on a page promoting their museum is this discordant statement "From the Founder"....

(I highly recommend standing at attention and having someone hum a few bars of God Bless America while you read this.)

This museum collection has been assembled and displayed for your personal enjoyment. The collection has been made possible by an individual living and working under a democratic government that allowed and encouraged a “Free Enterprise” system that worked for all people. This was a celebrated time during the 1960’s, 70’s, and 80’s.
Unfortunately, the 1990’s ushered in the era of the political bureaucrat (an official who works by fixed routine without exercising intelligent judgment). The political bureaucrat of the 1990s has left us a legacy of a decayed free enterprise system. Under the free enterprise system of the 1960's, students and businesses did not require as much financial help and were even blessed with the opportunity to work, earn and pay their own way. Indeed, this collection was provided by an individual who started with nothing, received nothing, and worked his way through Florida State University as a Farrier (i.e., blacksmith).
Today as you enjoy these treasures of an era gone by, we invite you to ask yourself this question:
“Under the oppressive constraints, rules and regulations forced on us by the 1990’s political bureaucrats, can “We the people” achieve the goals and regain the freedom outlined in the Constitution of the United States of America that is so vital to our existence in a healthy free enterprise system?

Yep, Donnie's giving a speech at the property of a sympatico crazy.

Oh, and speaking of incongruous notes. Knowing the politics of the owner, now, anybody want to tell me how to view this display?

Anyone from the panhandle or 'Bama in the house? Does that look like a model citizen of Tallahasse after the turn of the last century?

“Under the oppressive constraints, rules and regulations forced on us by the 1990’s political bureaucrats,

Riiiiiiiight. Didn't realize the Nixon's creation of the EPA took place in the '90s.

ETA: Not to mention OSHA.

The 60's, 70's and 80's. When Congress was mostly controlled by Democrats. If we can only go back to those good old days.

If their goal is to decry the election as rigged, then it's necessary to depict Trump as having had a good chance at victory in the first place.
