Gable Tostee

:dl:

10/10 for consistency.

Overt support for two alpha-male-wannabe defendants.

I sense a pattern.
The pattern is I called both cases the same as the judges/jury saw them before decisions came down. Pistorius was a gun nut with enough cash to fund his hobby and it got him, Tostee had well defined aspergers which meant his pick up lines got him banned from night clubs, leaving a photo on tinder to do the talking.
Neither planned to kill girls.

As much as you deny it, nothing changes the fact that Pistorius is a murderer.

And Gable Tostee has walked from the court without a stain on his character

Pistorius walked from the court. Initially. Let's see how this works out.

And if you think that the recording doesn't go to Tostee's appalling, misogynist and violent character, you live on a different planet. Without a stain? What a joke.

Off topic but saw a bit from his parents.

Bloody nice people. Feel a bit sorry for them too.

(Yes I know they bred the scum)

I've seen a few people mention the good character of his parents. I wonder if people base that on how they portray themselves on television.

I hold no opinion on his mother, as I know nothing about her. But his father showed the depth of his character on the night in question. There are no recordings of him suggesting that his moronic offspring call the police, or do anything else in any way responsible. He was all about covering his precious manchild's arse.

I guess some people don't see that.

He made him go to the cops in the morning.

Do you have a cite for that? I'm fairly certain that they wenf to the police station after meeting with the lawyer. I suggest that the lawyer is the one who made the decision.
In that situation I'd make sure the prick had a lawyer as well.

It's still his kid.

Do you think he would just throw him away?

Nope. I think daddy had doubts about little Gabe's story.

That makes no difference to my point. Did dad show any concern for the deceased?

Did Tostee?

Don't cite his "I hope she isn't dead". This degenerate had previously drawn a chalk outline beneath his balcony. 14 floors beneath it. Don't tell me he had any doubts as to the result. He saw the cops. He knew damn well she was dead.

Neither father or son voiced any sympathy or remorse for the victim in the hour or more that they are recorded speaking.

Your emotive terminology is telling. And ridiculous.

This jerk is no kid.
His ****** offspring then.

Doesn't change the point.

When you throw your son out in a messed up time no matter what they may or may not have done get back to me

I would hope that the judges directions to the jury are , or can be, brought into question. Particularly the ones on the balcony not being part of the property

You've misinterpreted his statement:

The jury - six men and six women - also asked if Tostee putting Wright on his balcony constituted removing her from his property.
..
Justice Byrne's reply was brief.
"Yes," he answered.

It's the *action* that's at question, not the location. Because he is permitted to perform that action under law.

I'll do what is he best for my children, but I will not expect anonymous, ignorant sympathisers on net to call them "kid". I would see it as the emotive rubbish it is.

I beg to differ.

Did this action constitute removing her from the property? Yes.

IOW. After the door was closed, she was deemed to have been removed from the property.

It is his kid.

I take it you have none

If you did you would know they are always your kid

But point taken.

Tbh I didn't actually use the term for some emotive affect

But see now it could be seen that way.

From now on I'll just call him prick pond spawn

And please don't be aggresive to me.

I never report anyone because frankly I don't care but personal attacks irritate me
