Trump runs for POTUS/ Trumped Up! Part VII

I happen to work for a government agency involed swith managing the lands on which those resouces are located, and it would take massive legislation to open those lands,Donnie could not just do it by Presendential proclamation. You would have to repeal a lot of enviormental protections enacted into law, and face a lot of private lawusits, since a rancher would not be happy with the grazing land he leases being dug up for coal. Trump is truly clueless.

The Homeland Security czar can waive just about any law you can think of.

At times, I have had to tip my cap to Trump in how he has manipulated the media. His day after day after day of saying something outrageous in some way has been brilliant. Now most of those things were stupid and not really doable. ButbTrump has been changing the subject so often the details of his bs gets lost in the tornado which is Trump. He's been a magician constantly misdirecting the focus. His problem though is how he is easily baited and can't resist striking back.

Today was a prime example. He supposedly was going to give a major policy speech but it was the same old crap. And what's worse was his need to threaten his accusers adding one more day of news articles about sexual abuse. Conway and others had to have told him why doing this day after day was bad and yet he keeps doing it What the hell is wrong with him?

Bolded by me.

I've come to the conclusion that he thinks his same old crap IS policy.

And just like Charlie Brown trying again and again to kick the football Lucy is holding, the media keeps falling for it, advertising for him: "Trump to give major policy speech.

Easy: Whatever he thinks is right. Whatever someone else thinks is wrong, unless it agrees with what he thinks.

ETA: I want so see all the expedient allies fall away and never come back. But they do come back. The 40 percent or 45 percent or whatever, they're not fascists. The 12 percent or 15 percent, sure. I'm not above praying that our country exhibits the charism of discernment.

Yes...My point is theoretically he wants to change the narrative to something positive. At least something else. Instead when I look at Google News, all the headlines is about him suing his sexual accusers. As if that is going to earn him any votes. Instead it keeps the focus on his probable misconduct.

Supporting Trump is the universal action taken by all the people in question and that action alone is sufficient to label them as deplorable if not even stronger words.

Your point completely misses the point.

That makes no sense whatsoever. Trump voters are in no way a monolithic group. This is exactly the same logic that people use to say that all atheists are (insert nonsense here). It has nothinh to do with choice or lack of choice but about treating all people of that group as equivalent to the worst among them. You wouldn't accept this sort of logic if the target wasn't so acceptable to you.

I recently read an article about Trump voters in West Virginia, a state I think he is expected to carry no matter what. One supporter is a man of Arab/Muslim descent (second generation American) and another is of Mexican descent (I think first generation American and a retired U.S. military officer).

The Arab-American's wife (who is of Euro-American descent) is planning on voting for Trump despite finding him so "pompous and arrogant" she couldn't stand watching him on the debates. When it was Trump's turn she left the living room.

However all three agree, America is not working for the little guy. They are especially aggrieved because West Virginia's coal industry is slipping away, which will have a major impact on West Virginia's economy and they believe most Americans don't care about the state's problems at all.

What I found amazing was that a number of the Trump supporters voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012. Why? Many of them said they thought it was "historic" and "about time" for a black man to serve as President. The Republican agitprop machine has done a number on Hillary Clinton and they all agreed they detest her.

Supporting Trump is the only criteria required to determine that someone is deplorable. This nonsense of yours about them having a varied level of worth is meaningless. There is only 1 thing under consideration and that 1 thing is sufficient to declare them all as deplorable.

You cannot support Trump and remain a respectable human being. That act of supporting him throws you in the gutter with him.

Then again, supporting Hillary is the only criteria required to determine that someone is deplorable. This nonsense of yours about them having a varied level of worth is meaningless. There is only 1 thing under consideration and that 1 thing is sufficient to declare them all as deplorable.

You cannot support Hillary and remain a respectable human being. That act of supporting her throws you in the gutter with her.

Or so I've often heard it said with exactly the same vehemence.

We could have a fine week of Polititainment coming. Not understanding all this cyber, he probably hasn't had the "rolling-seven-day-internet-poll" weaknesses explained to him in terms he can understand*, and he thinks he's ahead.

Politico's cover this week was an article on how when he's "up" he's dangerous to himself. That 2005 "when you're a star" crap and most of his crudest mis-deeds are all from those times when he was riding high. If he reads the polls as they are spinning them and hears those adoring fans, he's liable to say anything.
