He didn't "take down" ACORN. He created a video in which an employee played along with O'Keefe long enough to report him. When O'Keefe edited the video to make it like the guy was trying to run a scam, he was fired and then sued O'Keefe. O'Keefe settled and admitted he defamed an innocent man.

GOP operatives took the "controversy" O'Keefe created to kill ACORN by a thousand paper cuts. Governors and elgislators launched "investigations" that were too much for ACORN to keep up with.

The closest the "mainstream" media has come in my memory is when Dateline did that piece about SUVs and doctored one to flip over and start on fire. A bunch of people were fired and NBC is still recovering from it.

If someone can get some supporting evidence, that would be one thing. But this guys has been busted for editing and fabricating "proof" every. single. time.

I have a "meh" reaction to people who go to protests, say awful but legal things, trying to get punched. If they threw the first punch then I have a problem.
