The All Purpose Hillary Clinton Thread

Because my prediction is that Trump will be sworn in, irrespective of the election results. If Trump does win the election, then we do not have to wait.

Your prediction is that the low life piece of trash will be sworn in even after he loses the election? How do you think that will happen? Have you even thought that far ahead?

Because my prediction is that Trump will be sworn in, irrespective of the election results. If Trump does win the election, then we do not have to wait.

This is an extremely dumb prediction. If Trump loses, there is an almost 0% chance of him being sworn in as POTUS.

A 9 to 1 week Avatar bet is fine for me. To be decided after the swearing in.

You need to read the Art of Deal to negotiate better terms. You say 6:1; I say 9:1; you say 7:1; I say 8:1; and then you repeat 7:1 and I take it.

You know your hero didn't actually write that book, right?

Oh, and I would be happy to take an avatar bet. 9:1 months. If Hillary becomes POTUS, you wear an avatar of my choosing for a month. If Donald does, I have to wear one of your's for nine months. With the added bonus that if Donald somehow loses the election (by him losing, I mean the media calls him the loser) yet still becomes the POTUS, I have to wear an avatar of your choosing forever and give you 100 USD.

So you are expecting Trump supporters to carry out a coup? Or maybe go for a 'Second Amendment' solution?

Well, it would have to be a coup. A "2nd Solution" would make Kaine the President. The loser doesn't win if the winner gets assassinated.

The thought of the U.S. Military getting behind a coup is absurd.

They wouldn't have to, we know the Militias and Sovereign Citizens would do the job.

I really have to wonder why you would think that? Trump is a private citizen and nowhere in the line of succession. I'm as likely to take office in those circumstances as Trump is.

Present line of succession
Vice President Joe Biden
Speaker of the House Paul Ryan
President pro tempore of the Senate1 Patrick Leahy
Secretary of State John Kerry
Secretary of the Treasury Jacob Lew
Secretary of Defense Ashton B. Carter
Attorney General Loretta Lynch
Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewel
Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack
Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker
Secretary of Labor Thomas E. Perez
Secretary of Health and Human Services Sylvia Mathews Burwell
Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julián Castro
Secretary of Transportation Anthony Foxx
Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz
Secretary of Education Arne Duncan
Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert McDonald
Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson

This would of course change after the elections,, but there is ZERO chance Trump would be in it should he lose

Tarot cards tell him so.

LOL

He should ask the cards how this will happen.

I will take your avatar bet, at 9:1, if (and only if) you will predicate it upon the results of the general election on Tuesday, November 8.

If Trump officially wins the actual election, I will display an avatar (an avatar that complies with the standards of ISF) of your choice for 9 months.

If Clinton wins the actual election, You will display an avatar of my choice (same provision); if you are required by your loss to display other avatars for other lengths of time, I will defer your obligation to a future month of our mutual agreement.

We will negotiate what effect the NCAA FB avatar bet would have on my display of the avatar of your choice (most likely, as with yours, a delay of a month while I display one required by the other bet).

Be so kind as to accept or reject this offer by midnight MDT today, 16 October; after which time the offer becomes null and void.

That is truly bizarre. Are there any imaginable circumstances in which the loser of the election is sworn in as President? No, I thought not......

The loser, no, but Trump, sure we can imagine circumstances.

1. Trump loses the election.
2. Before the inauguration of Clinton, both Obama and Biden resign/die.
3. Paul Ryan then becomes president.
4. He makes Trump Secretary of State, a nomination immediately confirmed by the senate.
5. Hillary Clinton becomes president on 20/jan/2017.
6. After that, before a new cabinet is formed, Clinton, Kaine, the Speaker of the House and the President pro tempore of the Senate resign/die (some terrible epidemy).
7. The Secretary of State, Donald Trump, becomes president.

Now here's the thing. it has been pointed out on another forum that the position of Speaker does not require the appointed person to be a member of the House. Here's an article on it:

http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/congress/can-outsider-be-speaker-house-n441926

So I suppose you could concoct some elaborate scheme where Ryan stands down and Trump is appointed, but yeah, that's way, way, wayyyyy out there...

We're contemplating the extremely unlikely. But here is something important to remember about House and Senate elections. While there is sort of a gentleman's agreement to allow each party to select their own officers, it is not something written in stone. The entire house including minority members can vote on Speaker etc. So not only would a majority of Republican House members have to vote Trump as speaker, but a majority of both parties. So only a few of the majority along with the Democrats could prevent Trump or any outsider from becoming speaker.

I think it's a flaw in our system that possibly someone from the opposing party is third in line for the Presidency.

The depth of your confusion makes the Marianas Trench seem like a wading pool.
