Trump runs for POTUS/ Trumped Up! Part VI

He remembers all this because he has a "photographic memory". Unfortunately, he's unsure of the date - he thinks it was sometime in 1980 or maybe 1981.

Cut the guy some slack! He's got a phonographic memory (perfect recall of what he heard, so that several decades later he remembers what a stranger told him on a plane) and a photographic memory (perfect recall of what he saw, so that several decades later he positively can identify Jessica Leeds from an old photograph of her as the woman he saw on a plane), and now you want him to have a chronographic memory as well?

It's just a shame he never looked at his plane ticket. If he had, he'd have perfect memory of the date written on it and be able to tell when this occurred.

Okay -- getting serious for a moment. I don't find Gilberthorpe's testimony on this matter very convincing, I doubt that Gilberthorpe actually was the passenger sitting across from Trump and Leeds, and I suspect that within a few days fact-checking should be able to show it to be false.

I'm not very familiar with the record-keeping for air flights, but if a date can be found for a flight both Leeds and Trump were on it may be possible to determine whether Gilberthorpe actually made a trip to New York on that same day. I think it will turn out he didn't.

(Was this an international flight? Gilberthorpe is British, so that seems a good possibility. If that's the case, would passport records be available to determine when Trump made flights UK to NY, when Leeds made flights UK to NY, and when Gilberthorpe made flights UK to NY?)

No reason you should. If we were to believe everything he's claimed in the past, he has procured young boys for politicians to use sexually. So, even if he always told the truth, he'd still be difficult to believe since he'd be a disgusting excuse for a human being.

I would be surprised if the Daily Oklahoman didn't endorse him.

I'm surprised the NY Post hasn't made a Trump presidential endorsement yet, after endorsing him in the primary. I'm sure they will, but the delay is interesting.

Not only that. Gilberthorpe has also placed ads for his marriage, with a Californian fashion designer, which was totally bogus. He has also sued for libel various newspapers for printing that he was dying from AIDS. Then it turned out that those newspapers had been called with this (false) news item - by Gilberthorpe himself. :boggled:

The guy continuously makes stuff up.

Be interesting to see his passport records. What was an 18 or 19 year old retired (fake) pimp doing in First Class? Does he come from money? Or more likely will it turn out that he got his first passport in 1985 and has never been overseas. The guy makes crap up for a living.

No, Trump never said he had a photographic memory, he said he has a pornographic memory. He can tell from a 10 second clip who the x rated actors were and what movie it came from.

On a personal level, I feel sorry for him.

On a political level, I really don't want that man to have an army.

An Army? Hell... I don't want that man to have a staff.

He pulled some crap on a Hooters, trying get a few servers fired for not meeting his standards of beauty. Management played it "half way" decent... they scheduled other women for the Donald's "pre-announced" visits.
Would have been better to tell him to piss off.

Now think of his offices.

Just a suspicion, but...
What are the chances there were any "less attractive" women whose duties brought them into Donald's orbit?

He doesn't utilize "fair hiring practices" or respect women... he's "stocking the pond".

He's a Neanderthal holdover from the Studio 54 days. Nothing being revealed today surprises me.

You'd think they'd first google his name and quickly see this guy is confabulator?

I'm more curious about whether Trump or his campaign will be making official statements defending the man's credibility and declaring that reports about Gilberthorpe's past activities are fabricated.

Now, be fair to Neanderthals.

It bothers me a little that Pussygate looks like it may be the one thing, out of so many issues, that takes Trump down.

I think it's straw:camel's back rather than the one thing.

The GOP and conservatives in general do not realize just how seriously progressives and women of all stripes take the sexual harassment/sexual predator issue.

Yeah, "locker room banter" and they've gotten away with that line with fellow (male) lawmakers, judges, juries and board rooms for decades if not centuries. But women, in general, including some borderline undecided and Republican women, are sick of it. Hearing him say that was like they collectively lunched on a scuttle of hot coals. Hearing accuser after accuser confirming his little-boy bragging? It's just hammering it home.

But the effect is that they're (his overall supporters) looking at everything he's been saying and not saying. Fox's latest poll has him trailing in every category, including his three supposed "strong suits".... immigration, handling terrorism, and economy/jobs.

Just when you thought there were no further depths for the Trump campaign to plumb. Does he have any character witnesses who aren't disgusting? If this guy is the person Trump thinks can defuse a scandal, how horrible a judge of character must he be?

Social historians will no doubt study the phenomena for decades to come.

By putting this inept liar forward, Donald has confessed he was on that plane seated beside Ms. Leeds. This is pure desperation. This was thrown out without even a cursory glance at the witness' credibility.

He is such an idiot.

I seriously think he is the dumbest major party nominee ever.
