Trump runs for POTUS/ Trumped Up! Part VI

Anthony Gilberthorpe is the witness they have produced to claim Donald didn't grope Ms. Leeds on the plane. Is there a weirder way to admit you have nothing to defend yourself from the accusation?

So Donald basically admits that he was in the plane sitting next to Ms. Leeds. And the witness he uses to refute her claims is the most untrustworthy one possible.

Egbert Bickley; "Why would you even say it's racist? It's a sign of the old Wild West."

Yeah.

Right.
Oh, I don't know. It's threatening, and that's bad enough. We don't have to quibble on whether it's racist too.

It sure might be. But it's undeniably threatening.

Sorry, it's for your own good:

Each of these things has to be dealt with separately, while together they form a pattern. If the Trump team think they can make it all about Carlos Slim - and they're probably going to try - they're either desperate or deluded.

His present goal is to squeeze every possible vote out of his hardcore base, to avoid a complete landslide. The Slim conspiracy will go over just fine with these...um..."folks".

I guess it's a good thing for him that Mr. Gilberthorpe was probably lying two years ago when he confessed to being a pedophile pimp.

I've lost all respect for Wikileaks. I thought openness was the desire, not press or attention. It's just another media outlet, I think.

It is what it always was; an anti-US propaganda organization using hacked material as ammunition against it's perceived enemies. "Transparency" never had anything to do with it.

I don't understand. How can a witness not seeing it prove it didn't happen? At best, all he can say is, "I didn't see anything."

Was he holding Trump's hands during the flight?

Vincent Gambini would tear this guy to shreds

Would not be surprised to see staff fleeing after this rally. That was the, "If I Did It: Confessions of Sexual Predator" version of his stump speech.

He wanted OJ as a contestant on his show. I think that says something. The network refused.

His account is something else. For a campaign that lying is their default action whenever something happens, you'd think they'd be better at it by now.

So... Do we really need a third debate?

I could see him saying, "The joke's on you! I never wanted to win and did everything I could think of not to, as a favor to Bill. I dissed a POW. I mocked a disabled reporter. And I STILL got xx% of the popular vote! What rubes!"

Trump doesn't really come off as the kind of person to sacrifice himself for others.

His testimony isn't that he didn't see anything. According to the news stories about this, what he's saying is that he recalls seeing her aggressively flirting with Trump (rather than vice versa) and that he recalls hearing her say to him, when Trump left to use the restroom, that she wanted to get Trump to marry her.

Not yet out there (Gilberthorpe is probably saving this for another day or two before sharing it publicly) is that he also recalls her saying she that, if Trump didn't marry her, in 30 or 40 years she'd make public claims that Trump had groped her during the flight! A fiendish plan, but she failed to take into account that the person sitting across from her had a phonographic as well as photographic memory.

Donald Trump Kept Calling Lil Jon an ‘Uncle Tom,’ Celebrity Apprentice Staffers Say

While shooting the 13th season of The Apprentice, Donald Trump repeatedly used a racial slur to refer to rapper and contestant Lil Jon—even after several producers urged him to stop, three staffers on the show told The Daily Beast.

During an episode of a season that first aired in 2013 (dubbed All-Star Celebrity Apprentice), the “Turn Down for What” singer was tasked, along with the other celebrity contenders, with mounting competing displays around and inside glass trucks in order to promote hair-care products. In the heat of competition, Lil Jon bought and donned an Uncle Sam costume to help advertise the “beautiful” hair product.

During the day’s shoot, Trump himself caught wind of this gimmick and began referring to Lil Jon around Apprentice staff as “Uncle Tom” instead of Uncle Sam.

He remembers all this because he has a "photographic memory". Unfortunately, he's unsure of the date - he thinks it was sometime in 1980 or maybe 1981.
