I feel sorry for him because I believe he is about to have a complete breakdown. I might wish ill fame on someone, but I don't usually wish them ill health.


But if I feel pity for him, it shouldn't be confused with thinking that he has been handed some horrible, unfair, treatment. I do agree that his current bad situation is entirely of his own making.

Well, my thinking is that there's Donald Trump, the person, and "Donald Trump," the figure/icon/vessel that has been lifted up by and come to represent the dreams and grudges of a not insignificant number of people.

Psychology being what it is, if something devastating were to befall Donald Trump, he could quickly turn into a tragic, sympathetic figure, thereby injecting a dose of righteousness and renewed determination into that which is "Donald Trump."

To say this is an unusual case would be gross understatement, lets face it.

Not entirely. He produced the stuff but it took a village to bury him in it.

While I think there is large tribe of Angry White Males (usually rednecks) that never vote, I don't believe in them upending election for simple reason. If those guys didn't went out to vote against that uppity n**** (TWICE), nothing will make them to do it. Not even Trump.

I wonder if these yokels will be stupid enough to go do their election monitoring before they themselves vote. They may find themselves being held a day or so while charges are considered.

America could survive four years of not being taken seriously. The biggest problem is that Trump is such a schmuck that other world leaders will be able to easily manipulate him into poor decisions.

Land developers in Plano (middle class suburb north of Dallas) are putting up Clinton/Kaine campaign signs. All of the other signs are still Republican, but it shocking to see. I still doubt a Clinton victory in Texas, but that is really incredulity.

I've seen it speculated that part of the reason Assange has put WikiLeaks into the bag for the Orange Menace is the hope that he will give Assange asylum from Sweden if he wins. Which is insane if you're aware of the silly conspiracy Assange has been peddling as to why he's hiding from Swedish authorities.

That is stunning. I haven't seen it, but I'll start looking.

It will be a victory if it is even close down here. An actual victory would be fantastic.

My wife won't let me put a Trump/Putin sign out front because of fear of retribution. My daughter said there are more of these hats than Trump hats at her school. So, there is hope for the future.

In at least one rally speech Trump told them to go vote and then go to those other places to monitor the voting. Those other places where those other people live - not their own place where their own people live and vote.

It could not be more blatant, and it could hardly be more dangerous.
