Wikileaks' October Surprise

Well well well,

DEAR DONALD TRUMP AND VLADIMIR PUTIN, I AM NOT SIDNEY BLUMENTHAL - BY KURT EICHENWALD ON 10/10/16 AT 7:45 PM

The latest leaked emails are edited to make it look like Blumenthal's words when he is really only citing an older Newsweek article by Eichenwald.
An email from Blumenthal—a confidant of Hillary Clinton and a man, second only to George Soros at the center of conservative conspiracy theories—turned up in the recent document dump by Wikileaks. ...

The documents that Wikileaks unloaded recently have been emails out of the account of John Podesta, the chairman of Clinton’s election campaign. Almost as soon as the pilfered documents emerged, Sputnik was all over them and rapidly found (or probably already knew about before the Wikileaks dump) a purportedly incriminating email from Blumenthal.

The email was amazing—it linked Boogie Man Blumenthal, Podesta and the topic of conservative political fevered dreams, Benghazi. This, it seemed, was the smoking gun finally proving Clinton bore total responsibility for the terrorist attack on the American outpost in Libya in 2012. Sputnik even declared that the email might be the “October surprise” that could undermine Clinton’s campaign....

Then came the money quote: "Clinton was in charge of the State Department, and it failed to protect U.S. personnel at an American consulate in Libya. If the GOP wants to raise that as a talking point against her, it is legitimate," said Blumenthal, putting to rest the Democratic Party talking point that the investigation into Clinton's management of the State Department at the time of the attack was nothing more than a partisan witch hunt.

Those words sounded really, really familiar. Really familiar. Like, so familiar they struck me as something I wrote. Because they were something I wrote.

The Russians were quoting two sentences from a 10,000 word piece I wrote for Newsweek, which Blumenthal had emailed to Podesta.

Eichenwald points out the ignorance and stupidity of trying to pass off his article as Blumethall's words.

I hate when people make me have to defend Clinton. Do I really have to march all through these and explain why they are stupid?

The Donna brazile email was meant to be distributed. It was for a public event. It was from the press secretary.

Nothing is wrong with cultivating a good relationship with Univision. It is important for Latino outreach.

Planting stories....how do you think news stories happen? Did you see American crime story? There is a whole scene where the defense gives their angle to a reporter. It's called journalism.

Dina...they simply are not referring to Clinton supporting DOMA as policy. She had disavowed that position, but made an argument about why it was originally signed that wasn't true.

The first four were junk. I see no reason to keep on swatting at Gish gallop.

You can't obviously because you are lying about what she said, of course. she said: YOU NEED TO HAVE A PRIVATE AND PUBLIC POSITION.

That was from yesterday's wikileak release.

Baffling that you misrepresented what the release actually said when there are actual non-sycophants around to call you on it

And once that stupid, idiotic, liar George W. Bush said"

There are no war plans on my desk.

And once that stupid, idiotic, liar George W. Bush said"

Oh, plans? I thought you said planes. That's what I meant. There are no war planes on my desk. That'd would be silly. So, what you'rer querifying, then is do I have war PLANS on my desk presencely? War plans? Gimme a second here to clear some room on my desk. War plans? I can state resotively there are no war plans on my desk at presence.

The way these leaks are going remind me of a scene from "Bob's Burgers":

Bob Belcher: We saved our best idea for last: the big hole.
Linda Belcher: If it's our best idea, why did we leave it for last?
Bob Belcher: Because we didn't know it was the best idea until the other ideas turned out to be terrible.
Linda Belcher: That's stupid.

Lol
I don't think I've ever believed that, your true colors are easy to see.

You're going out of your way to be in denial, got it!

Yes because the leftist media and the Clintons would never dream of collaborating?

Ahh yes the infamous Wall Street speeches, as mysterious as the Rose Lawfirm billing records, and here they are.

Her public and private face? Typical leftist, a liar.
Being the champion of fracking?

The brazile thing....it was a Bernie event!

That is the process of reporters working their sources. That is journalism since the beginning of journalism. If a candidate comes forward with a story they want told about them, and it is newsworthy and the journalist can independently verify, it is a story that gets published.

Also, feel free to look through my post history. What of my libertarian positions are compatible with Clinton? Maybe the ones where I say the 2nd amendment is too restrictive on gun freedom?

It's not as if you find copy just lying around all over.

You don't fit in a binary world, sadly. Not sadly for you, obviously, you don't give a damn, but for the sad denizens of binary world.
