Ohio is now back in the Clinton column. Yes, it is only by 1.5 Percentage points and is still a toss up, but given that a couple of weeks ago Trump had a 5 point lead there, it seems as though the Tax Scandal has hurt Donald badly with the Blue Collar voters in Ohio.
 
Tax avoidance and tax mitigation are legal all around the world. I fail to see the problem with Trump. He's an egoist ambitious SOB, but not a criminal. Didn't you already know that? He's the king of the loopholes for big fishes. Well, both parties in the National Congress as well as legislatures in many a state are guilty of that over the years, not Trump and his equally wealthy chumps.

If you sell yourself as a business genius and then admit to booking a billion dollar loss, some people have a hard to reconciling those positions. Maybe some of those people are working class voters of Ohio.

I've never really got how people miss that. It's the crux of his campaign and the name of a book he claims to have written. Just ask him, he's been the best businessman in the United States since before it was even founded. Now we find out that, aside from his bankruptcies and failed brands (airlines, steaks and wine), he took almost a billion dollar loss in a business he's claimed to be the best at. Certain people keep calling he's a genius but it looks like he's just really good at scamming the American system to benefit himself. People have claimed he was smart for filing bankruptcies too but all it amounts to is him finding ways to cover up for his failures. That's not admirable or resourceful.

Because he did it for himself and his family, but now he's going to do it for all his fellow countrymen! Yay!

Remember that it is better to promise than to carry out. People prefers hope over thankfulness.

How he conducts himself, and his businesses are fine (ish) if you're a businessman. Not if you're the President.

He's not going to go it for all his fellow countrymen. He's going to do it TO all his fellow countrymen.

His business model is to **** over anyone and everyone in his path. He's not even hiding that. If he becomes President, that "anyone and everyone" in his path will be all 330 Million of us.

I've tried explaining this same thing in multiple threads, to multiple people. I apologize if you're sarcasm or satire was lost on me. It's been such a real argument that I fail to notice it.

It's real, from the point of view of the acquiescent low middle class who fall easily in the arms of a populist. And that's the scary element of it. So, sarcastic up to a point, almost verging in poe, and surely the harsh reality as I see it.

Trump is Berlusconi.
