Bacteria are life forms that live by eating, respiring, and propagate themselves by cellular division. You really should research this more. Bacteria do not spontaneously arise in the digestive tract and are not created by the digestive tract. They get into your digestive tract by hitchhiking on food. And mucophagy.

Killing off digestive biotes with antibiotics doesn't mean you need "more effective" or "more expensive" probiotics, just that you need to repopulate the system. Killing weeds in my lawn with roundup doesn't require reseeding with "more effective" grass seeds; I just need to spread seeds appropriate to the climate and let them fill in the holes.

But that is no the reason to abandon from my method of combining without mixing the conceptual theorist, the inventor, the designer and the "intellectual rat for scientific experiments" in one creative person.

These days only quacks and morons experiment on themselves.

Well, that and mad scientists in comic books who accidentally turn themselves into super villains that way, but somehow I doubt "Anorexia man" with his superpower of "starvation induced neural malfunction" is going to necessitate the intervention of Batman or Daredevil.

The morons who tried to poison him put the cyanide into baked goods BEFORE they were baked. Most the cyanide would have vaporized. If they'd put the cyanide in icing applied AFTER baking, Rasputin's legendary death would be "poisoned at a party by political enemies."

And has had an extensive, and ongoing, acting career afterwards. I particularly enjoyed his work as the staff psychiatrist on "Crossing Jordan." His work on Deep Space 9 was well cast but not particularly well written until his character hooked up with Ishka.

Iocane powder is a fictional poison, not a fast acting salmonella that selectively kills in seconds.

Rasputin survived so long because his assassins were inept. They failed to actually get him to ingest a fatal dose of cyanide. They didn't have the strength or skill to beat him to death and they couldn't deliver a fatal gunshot at close range despite multiple attempts. They had to drown the man. Given their general incompetence that probably worked only because the river was frozen over and kept him submerged. If their murder attempt had been in the Summer he'd likely have swum to shore, bleeding and pissed, to hail the police.

You're mythologizing a murder victim because he had the misfortune to be assassinated by the Keystone Cops of assassins.
