So when your "leader" loses you'll blame the media instead of the fact that you people nominated a racist, stupid, ignorant, mentally disordered, crooked scumbag.

lol

The real bombshell will be if he wins. Look at the loser that beat hillary Clinton? ;)

It seems her husband is doing the same thing. ;)

Actually she seems to be doing a good job of it also. Bernie seems to be a bit pissed.
LOL, because she is going on late night Twitter meltdowns, ect. like your "leader".

Having been in media for years I can vouch for AP's credibility; it would not transmit something with made-up facts. It's a very conservative organization in the non-political use of the word.

One night CNN was claiming that coal miners had been found alive, while AP saw the crawler but held out for official confirmation. The miners had been found ... dead. Rumors had reached the surface that they were alive.

Almost every morning newspaper in the country went with the "miners found alive" story. I refused to paste anything on to the page because it was unresolved at 2 a.m. (A very annoying copy editor said to pick one story or the other, but I'd rather run blank newsprint than a factually untrue story).

AP has done some comprehensive database investigation; it bends over backward to be fair and it HATES to be wrong. I don't make the same claim about NBC.

I think it was Dave Barry who described his early career with AP by saying something like "I worked in the outskirts of Philadelphia. If I looked out the window and saw a mushroom cloud in the city my first thoughts would be 'sure hope the Evening Bulletin sends a byline about this soon.'"

Any person, agency, organization, or method that gives more credence to facts than feelings is going to seem 'left' compared to Trump or the current GOP. This is simply not unfair, and it's a completely justified bias. They're biased against lies. Why do people have more criticisms of Trump? He's worse in every way. Why do the media have more criticisms of Trump? He has more things to be critical of, and those criticisms tend to be valid. This is the source of the reporting more than the media being 'left'.

Trump getting slammed is not evidence the media is unfairly biased in and of itself. The reason he's getting slammed is that he plain, clearly, and unambiguously is a horrible candidate, politician, business man, leader, person, and would be the worst president ever. That includes Jackson. Your objection is at best whining, but actually just propaganda.

Besides that, the media could be crazy biased liberals and still be correct about Trump's sundry misdeeds. Nothing you've said makes them wrong. Nothing.

The media regarding Trump in a nutshell:

10 inches of snow in Alaska gets reported on. Meaningless. (Clinton)
Donald Trump would be akin to hurricane Sandy or Andrew. Katrina.
Which weather event SHOULD be more widely reported?

The ho hum business as usual one, or the one that literally destroys lives?

Thanks for the input. Most people know nothing about them.

AP is fairly user-invisible to news consumers, but were single handedly responsible for inventing professional journalism with standards and a stance of political neutrality. That logger would throw accusations of shenanigans at them proves logger's lack of media sophistication.

The Trump-haters are incapable of thinking for themselves. They don't realize the media functions essentially as a propaganda arm of Hillary Clinton and her campaign.

Hence my item B above. But as usual the citation silence is deafening, and also a red herring.
Yes, I have noticed that logger has a tendency to not answer questions.

logger, what distinguishes a "hit piece" from an investigation by journalists that seek to bring more complete information on a subject of topical and political relevance?

But no actual proof, oh well. Interesting story though.

Proof? The report details instances of inappropriate behavior by Trump using first-hand accounts. Lots of them.

Proof is not a relevant concept here. We're in a political campaign, not a courtroom. But, ok, let's give your silly request a serious consideration. What would constitute "proof" of the allegations? What would you consider to be unshakeable refutation of the claims?

And try to avoid your usual one-line snappy comebacks. Pretty please with Orange tan on top.

Fact is the media is clearly left. If you need proof after this election, you really aren't paying attention.
No, it is NOT clearly left. We've had a thread about media bias with the conclusion that there's some evidence in both directions.

You use the word "proof" quite inappropriately. Is your world just black and white?

Yes, most media outlets are left of the GOP, but that is because the party has moved further and further away from the center.
What counts as democrat or even liberal here would be conservative in almost any other democracy on earth.
The US politics doesn't have a 'left' anymore (not even Sanders - he is a social democrat, which makes him dead center anywhere in Europe).

The media has stayed the same, but what goes for Conservatism has moved drastically to the right fringe.

You can see that in programs the Dems try to pass which were all favorites of past Republican presidents (universal healthcare, high minimum wage, even universal basic income, free trade, free immigration).

Hey - after the debate, Donald's coke stash ran low, so he had to negotiate for another delivery.

Yep, Trump is in a world that doesn't align with reality.

Another hit piece from scumbag opportunists, well done!

Has anyone seen a big dog around here? Isn't the AP up for several Nobel prizes over at the kennel for their work in the FOIA suits for the Great Cowboy Home Brew Server Scandal of '15.

Now they're "scumbag opportunists"?
