Trump runs for POTUS / Trumped Up! Part V

Many people are saying the real reason that he had the sniffles is because he railed a bunch of coke right beforehand.

I do find that picture of Lloyd Bridges from Airplane to be REALLY funny.

You were just waiting from Trump to say, "I guess I picked the wrong week to stop sniffing glue" during the debate.

Well that's the very reason not to vote for Clinton.

I agree. I want people to vote for Hillary because she's, smart, she's qualified and she CARES. I want people to wake up to the fact that she's not evil. She may not be perfect, but she is good.

Still as much as I think there are plenty of good reasons to vote for Hillary I can't deny that beyond a doubt that the best reason is that we can't ...ABSOLUTELY CAN'T allow Donald Trump become President of the United States.

Another lie from Donald from the debate for sunmaster to try to explain away.

Donald said both of this things basically one right after the other:

1) He wouldn't do a first strike

2) Nothing would be off the table.

Only one of these statements can be true.

I've decided that the number one reason to not vote for Trump is that he's stupid.

I think saying "maybe 'Second Amendment people' could provide solution to a Clinton presidency," is stupid. Many people around the Internet disagree. I think the USSS thought it was a stupid thing to say, but they had no official comment on Trump's suggestion.

Katy Tur reports this earlier today:

Forbes just reassessed their estimate of Donald's net worth and downgraded it $800 million so this is plausible. The kicker is Katy Tur got a personal response signaling she's onto pay dirt.

Is he really going to go against the mega donor Mercers that installed the current campaign leadership?

LOL, I love Katy Tur.

I just heard Trump express dismay at some invoking the fifth amendment and imply that it is a sign of guilt.

I personally never do that. I accept the invoking of the fifth amendment and I never read into it further. Heck, I have invoked it when an answer would have supported innocence. What about others here?

I never think anything can be read into invoking the 5th. If we start implying guilt from its use then it has no meaning at all.

It would be like saying anyone who has to rely on the first amendment shouldn't be allowed to speak anyway.

It seems to me that you are part of the cast in every thread involving Trump

Well, there's your problem. I'm part of the regular cast of _this_ Trump thread and none other. Are you sure you're not confusing me with someone else?

If you don't want to illustrate yourself

What in the blue hell are you talking about? I don't even know what the thread you're suggesting I read has to do with what we were discussing, to say nothing of reading a thread with no assurance that it'll clarify anything, which is why I ask you to summarize the relevant parts.

I'm sorry. Either a piece of truth or a f****** lie. Either "make your case" or "admit that your claim was nonsense". Sorry, I don't live in such Manichean world ("black and white" is close enough if you want to avoid more learning).

Something is either a lie or it isn't. This isn't some sort of sophistry, Alec. It's just a matter of definition, and this one's pretty clear. You are yet to make your case for this.

I was addressing readers of this thread, not specifically you.

Then why write it in a post addressed to me? That is not a very clear way of communicating.

Ditto.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Donald himself has invoked the fifth on advice from council.

Sam Harris ripped into Trump again on his last podcast.

Some highlights: He would rather vote for Hillary even if he knew she would die her first week in office; he would rather have some unknown random person become president over Trump. :D

I seriously think that a person picked at random would probably be a better President than Donald.

With names and me, everything is possible. No, I thought that was discussed in here (earlier reincarnations of this thread). Well, all information needed was in posts #2446 and 2449.
