I found a 2016 Gallup poll saying that 38% of Americans are against same-sex marriage. I cannot find the breakdown by political party.

I think there are still Republican legislators trying to introduce the Federal Marriage Constitutional Amendment (outlawing gay marriage).

If you have any evidence that no one cares about gay marriage, we'd be happy to look at it.
