A Florida man who fired a gun at George Zimmerman’s vehicle during a road-rage confrontation was convicted on Friday of attempted second-degree murder. Jurors also found Matthew Apperson, 37, guilty of shooting into a vehicle and aggravated assault with a firearm, local news organizations reported. He faces sentencing on 17 October.

How long do you expect that to take? A year? 10 years? 40 years? Is there any point at which you would conclude that maybe you were wrong?

Actually we don't even have any proof that Aldrin actually punched Sibrel.

After all, if they can fake the moon landing with 1960s technology, it would be fairly simple to fake a punch with technology that was decades more recent.

People are allowed to form their own opinions about what happened. All the legal definition of "murder" means is whether the government has legal authority to infringe upon your rights.

What I find interesting are the people who seem to believe they'd be morally justified in physically assaulting George Zimmerman if they ever met him in person. Internet tough guys. As if they'd ever dare to do what they thought was right, if it meant having to stand trial under the same laws that acquitted Zimmerman.

That's news to me (and anyone who has ever read a newspaper). Do you have a link to the court case? I'm guessing not.
 
Zimmerman is not a murderer. He's an artist. Unfortunately, his master work has been ignored, washed away like chalk lines on concrete.

It's a bit different, but I think the nuance makes it more complete.

To the Zimmerman fans - again, your main problem with me is simply that I'm not an idiot. We know that Zimmerman basically chased down Martin. The idea that Zimmerman suddenly just gave up his chase for no reason, and Martin just suddenly, and simultaneously flipped out, and ran up and attacked Zimmerman, is incredibly stupid, and at odds with all evidence we have. You failed to provide any evidence in the original threads, and you've never provided evidence in any evidence in any thread since. And that's why I view y'all as simple-minded racists.

So yeah, I'll laugh at him getting punched in the face. He richly deserves it, although yet again, I wouldn't do it myself. He's not worth the potential charge.

Anyway, have fun in your continued quest to justify every time a black guy gets shot by police or vigilantes. Hey, I might just post a thread on Terence Crutcher for y'all to post your latest excuses for police murders on. It'll be fun...for you. I'll likely ignore you, though.

What if it stops them from ever doing it again when they otherwise would have?

Pedos pretty much have to have DNA evidence to convict them.
