Oscar Pistorius shoots girlfriend - Part 2

Tenacity is a term best attributed to authentic researchers. What will the James Webb telescope find that really matters? Absolutely nothing unless asteroid deflection, or a lethal super nova, hang on, how do we know what might save us by its observations?
Similarly, there is a pantheon of treachery lurking to ensnare our offspring. Ask Knox' parents, and we do not give a flying gap word because it is so extremely unlikely.
Get in behind we say to the dogs.

Faria was almost certainly playing Dungeons and Dragons actually.
Maybe an other RPG but the only thing I can see the media being that coy about is various RPGs with the Satanic Panic.

Looks like Gerrie Nel is going directly to the SCA:

Johannesburg - The Gauteng Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has made an application at the Supreme Court of Appeals against the six-year jail sentence handed down to convicted murderer Oscar Pistorius.

In the appeal, led by prosecutor Advocate Gerrie Nel, court papers state that during the State's initial application to appeal the sentence, adequate reasons were not given by the court for why it had been rejected.

"The court did not delineate reasons for dismissing the application, but merely made, with respect, a bald finding," court papers read.

In other news, Liam Malone (the other bladerunner) broke two of Oscar's Paralympic records.

Malone claimed the gold medal in 46.20 seconds, and was just .11 seconds outside New Zealand' able-bodied record, according to Stuff in New Zealand. (Pistorius previously set a record of 46.56 seconds in 2007.)
<snip>
On Tuesday, he broke Pistorius' first record in the men's 200-meter T44 final in a time of 21.06 seconds. Pistorius' record was 21.30 seconds.

I am nobody.
Many women preempt their partners attacking them in America.
Read that book I cite.
What I am trying to point out is fear of violence begets violence.

Maybe Reeva should have preempted her murderer from murdering her. Hard to say without more information. But at least he didn't get clean away with. Came close though.

Claims to have gained inspiration from talking to Pistorius.

I hope his chick knows that.

Not that it matters a damn, but all present agree that they did not play games as usual that evening, but rather watched movies instead.

I don't disagree but the media was being coy with what "game night" meant

[newyorkguy]

...However, I would have no fear at all of being in a community where Pistorius enjoyed untramelled freedom.

Okay but would you want your sister to marry him?

Okay but would you want your sister to marry him?

No, but guns are like dogs, horses, skateboards, even bikes. Things happen, I just don't believe Oscar meant to harm anyone he knew.

......... I just don't believe Oscar meant to harm anyone he knew.

So what? Harming someone you don't know is just as wrong.

Samantha Taylor would argue differently
Twice, Taylor told Patta, she hid Pistorius' gun from him because she was afraid.

I saw that. It is one of those cundrums about those sports legs being an advantage or disadvantage

Just a guess, but I'd say they were a distinct advantage for the legless.

Ya think?

What about with people with two legs against them

Better than a pogo stick, worse than a motorcycle.

I suppose he also mistook Steenkamp for an "intruder" when he shot her with an air rifle and beat her with a cricket bat.

OSCAR Pistorius may have shot Reeva Steenkamp with an air gun and beaten her with a cricket bat before he picked up a revolver and murdered her in the bathroom of his luxury apartment, a fresh investigation into the crime claims.

She must have been afraid he'd mistake her for a home invader before shooting her multiple times at close range.

Looks like the appeal is finally going to be heard:

The National Prosecuting Authority said Tuesday that the Supreme Court of Appeal will hear its case for overturning Pistorius' six-year prison sentence for murdering girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on the basis that it is too lenient. Prosecutors want the sentence of the double-amputee Olympic runner to be increased to 15 years.

The Supreme Court has set down Friday 3 November to hear the State’s appeal, which is being opposed by Pistorius.

http://ewn.co.za/2017/09/18/date-set-for-state-s-appeal-of-pistorius-sentence

But the real news is... Lifetime Network made a movie about Oscar

Told from the point of view of Steenkamp and her mother, the movie looks at the events leading up to the killing, the relationship between Oscar and Reeva, the cracks that were forming in it and wqhat allegedly happened on that tragic night in Pretoria, South Africa, and the courtroom trials that followed.

Oscar Pistorius: Blade Runner Killer was produced by Eric Tomosunas and Swirl Films for Thinkfactory Media and executive produced by Leslie Greif. Norman Stone directs. Its TV world premiere is set for 8 PM November 11 on Lifetime.
