Gahhh! Hillary's trippin'!

Let the conservatives fantasize about an ill Hillary, it will make them feel happy until she's elected POTUS.

We're fantasizing over her coming clean and actually telling us what is wrong. Of course with her track record it has to come from a panel of doctors. Just so she can't hide anything.

But can't we all just agree that Hillary's apparent health issues is due to anxiety and sleeplessness from being haunted by the vengeful ghost of Vince Foster?

Hillary has a whole legion chasing her. Hell of a lot more than Mr. Foster, he may be leading it though. ;)

Maybe it's a time zone thing, but I read about the pneumonia diagnosis when I first checked the news today, and that was 5 hours ago.

No, it's not a time zone thing. This was common knowledge when she posted.

She'll come clean at the same time your mentally inept hero Trump does.

Deal?

Right.

Meanwhile, standing around sometimes makes people go woozy, standing around in the heat is worse, and I'd imagine standing around in the heat while suffering from some form of pneumonia is worse still.

To suggest that the only factor in play is standing in the heat strikes me as somewhat odd (though I could put it a lot more strongly than that).

Standing around anywhere with even mild illnesses can be "bad". I had a cold or some other similar illness recently, but only took the morning off of work because I had recently started the job. I still didn't feel good, but it was mostly just a really foggy head. In the afternoon, we had a meeting and I decided to stand and keep my distance as best I could. The meeting was maybe 20-30 minutes, but by the end of it I was feeling extremely nauseous and on the verge of vomiting.

You know, with all this back and forth about her health, has anyone considered it doesn't matter. There is a reason there is a Vice Presidential candidate. There is a reason we have rules of succession when the President is ill/dies. In fact this was a major issue with McCain's candidacy, he was seen as old and with a reasonable chance of croaking or being temporarily incapacitated during his term, and his running mate was seen as at best woefully unqualified.

Now I'm no fan of Hillary, but if she were elected are people worried that Tim Kaine would not be able to handle the responsibilities of President in the event she were incapacitated for health reasons?

This is good perspective. However, the reason they Right keep talking about her health is they hope people can be tricked into thinking she is not electable because she is going to die. It is just another of the many tricks they think will work on the public.

I think the larger problem is the dishonesty. If she and her team know that she is in poor health, then it's kind of a bait and switch for her to run at the top of the ticket. Nobody really votes for Vice President. If her health status were fully disclosed, then people might say, "Hey, I don't mind if Kaine has to takeover, so I'm still voting for her." That's an eminently reasonable position to take. But if she is in poor health, that's not the situation. She's trying as best as she can to hide it.

For me, it's more about the dishonesty. I am convinced that if Hillary had a serious health problem, she and her campaign would try to cover it up. If she were honest about being in poor health, I actually wouldn't care all that much. The Presidency is larger than any one person. If she can't do the job, presumably Kaine will, in addition to all of her advisers.
