Trump runs for POTUS / Trumped Up! Part IV

Meeting with a world leader is an obvious trap, now that is hilarious. It seems Hillary is getting the same advice. Oh well we'll wake her in the morning.

Anyone who was paying attention would know this invite was a trap to butch up a flailing elected official. Hillary was paying attention. You and Trump weren't.

His deport 11 million policy looks exactly like Obama's deportation policy. Both result in deporting the same number of people.

I'm sorry, but while your prediction of results of the numbers actually deported being equivalent may or may not be accurate, you're view of the policies as exactly alike based on that alone is entirely fallacious. There are other results, cost, and benefit differences in the policies, and to focus on that metric alone doesn't tell us much.

Obama's policy does not include building a wall and trying to make Mexico pay for it. This would have many drawbacks in both economic cost and political good-will. That this idea would fail to improve on deportations and immigration control does not make it look like Dem ideas. Obama's policy doesn't include tripling the number of ICE agents. It doesn't include defunding sanctuary cities. Ending birthright citizenship isn't like anything that Obama has suggested! These are all massive differences that would have different outcomes in metrics other than numbers deported.

Thank you for the attempts at civil discussion in this thread, where namecalling has gotten in the way far too much, though. It's refreshing.

Nope, only metric that matters.

Plus, the wall will look a lot like the existing wall and wont change it.

He won't triple the number of ICE agents (we can only train so many people a year)

https://www.google.com/search?q=bor...UICSgC&biw=1366&bih=659#imgrc=-rv5Ft4R-P8kQM:

He won't defund sanctuary cities (because that is not actually a thing)

He won't end birthright citizenship (constitutional issue plus standing where how would the executive even get a case through).

Please, don't call my position an endorsement. But he is running on things that are fiction in his head. His efforts to alter fiction will function like a president who simply doesnt subscribe to that fiction.

We've gone from starting wars to being the worlds whipping boy. Lol

That's what happens when a man shows his true colors that dramatically and suddenly, a lovely stripe of yellow right down his belly.

And don't get me started on Obama. All that hope and change in order to get a gay-friendly, more intelligent George W. With a better economic plan. Yes he was an improvement, but he was one of degrees, not the revolution he promised.

It certainly is not. If one policy costs many times the other one, and results in more conflict, but achieves only about the same benefit, then they don't look 'exactly' alike and it is easy to tell which is the better one.

Under Obama, the deportation rate has doubled. Criminal deportations are way up.
Trump isn't talking about deporting criminals, of course. He's talking about searching out and deporting all illegal immigrants.

Is that a Democratic policy? I think not.

Some might like to equate illegal with criminal, but George W can put them straight on that, and good on him.

Last I checked he wasn't going to deport the non-criminals. We will see tonight.

Actually the latest news is him deporting the actual criminals, oh my. The criminals who broke our laws and crawled across the border will come by self deportation. This will happen when the businesses who hire them are targeted.

Because his stupid socialistic revolution was defeated, thank God.

Please. Obama is center-right at best. We don't HAVE real socialists and communists in the USA. Even Sanders could have made a good case for being a Tory in the UK.

So how long before Donald starts tweeting that the Mexican President is a liar? What catchy nickname will he come up with for this head of another country?

Exactly alike.

I am teasing of course. I do mean for Trump supporters. Trump on immigration will achieve results about as good as Trump supporters get from Obama.

Deporting criminals is nothing new. Obama's big on it, according to BobThe Coward. More so than George W anyway, but I guess he was more connected to the businesses who hire criminals. Texas is rife with them, I gather.

Clearly! Have you tried Cuba, or Venezuela? Beautiful countries that embody the revolution you'd like.

Apparently you like lying about others and putting words in their mouths as much as your idol. No wonder you love him so.

Anyway, USA today speculated on what it would sound like if Obama had reached out to white voters the way Trump "reached out" to blacks. The result was amusing.

I wasn't agreeing on leadership, you clearly said policy. Trump is clearly above Obama and better than Bush.

And what criteria are you using to come to that conclusion?

1. Trump's understanding of foreign policy?
2. His total lack of understanding on pretty much every issue?
3. His "wishy washy Jell-O like policy positions where he has managed to come down on the different sides of every single issue?
4. How he manage to cheat students at Trump University?
5. How he tells vendors after they have fulfilled their obligations to him that he's not going to pay unless they sweeten their terms?
6. The number of failed business? Ie: Trump Steaks, Trump Mortgage, Trump Air, Trump University, Trump water, Trump waste, etc. etc. etc?
7 The four times his casinos went bankrupt?
8. The 2 failed marriages?
9. His decorum and the way he treats others?

I'm serious. On what precise basis did you decide that Obama was bad (his color maybe?) and why Trump is so good? (When he said he'd kick out brown people, perhaps?)
