Trump runs for POTUS / Trumped Up! Part IV

You do understand at least a hundred thousand have been killed from this drug war they are having? You understand that much of that criminal element comes north along with the cheap labor. You seem to be quite black and white for a lib.
You may not have twigged that Nieto has taken the opportunity to raise the issues of money flowing from the drug market in the US to the cartels, and the guns which flow the same way.

There'd be no drug war in Mexico without the demand for drugs in the US, and not nearly so many guns to fight it with without the supply from the US. An unfortunate example of the internation division of labour, with each country doing what it's best at to the ultimate benefit of all.

The US is quite capable of producing its own criminal element, and Mexico provides more than enough opportunity for its own. Mexicans go to the US to get away from the gangs.

Funny how trump looks quite presidential in this trip.

Where was Hillary, oh yeah, giving a speech then off to bed.

He did a great job as a low energy loser. The "great" negotiator had his balls handed to him by a politician who had to commit plagiarism the graduate.

If that's the kind of performance we can expect from Trump as President then my fears of him starting more wars are assuaged. Instead we're going to be the planet's whipping boys, helmed by a spineless, gutless coward who talks big on friendly turf and folds like a house of cards in a stiff wind when he has to confront an actual world leader.

Regardless of if the rumors of Putin collision are true, if Trump is elected we're looking at 4 to 8 years of the USA being Russia's bitch. Trump couldn't stand up to a lame duck President wallowing in scandal. Putin will squash Trump in the morning and forget about it until he notices the strange smell and orange stain on his shoe before dinner.

See Tony most critical thinking people realize he didn't mean all Mexicans. ;)
Just the ones that the Mexican government rounds up and ships over the border. That would be Nieto's government now, but no doubt the policy is well established - in Trump's febrile imagination if nowhere else.

Well, if Hillary wasn't in bed, she could have looked presidential too.

Gee, which would I prefer.

1. A well rested politician who DOESN'T walk into an obvious trap.

2. A spineless jellyfish with a big mouth who wades in, gets caught in the trap and becomes a proxy whipping boy so a Mexican politician can pump up his public machismo.

And yes I am a trump sychophant.

I prefer my leaders to be strong and intelligent, not spineless and lead into a trap as easily as a bull heading into a slaughterhouse. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on that opinion.

We've gone from starting wars to being the worlds whipping boy. Lol

The problem here is all of you have been so used to a complete incompetent fool with our current president. Let's not forget the feeble old fool who doesn't even have to energy to meet with the Mexican president.

Says a self described sycophant of by far the worst nominee ever.

Donald Trump, has never, and will never, look presidential. And should by some miracle he create that illusion it will be dispelled the moment he opens his mouth to speak.

Meeting with a world leader is an obvious trap, now that is hilarious. It seems Hillary is getting the same advice. Oh well we'll wake her in the morning.

You're just not used to strong leadership. You prefer the pussies who've been running our country down the drain.

I wonder how the great wall is supposed to stop international drug trade?

As far as gangs, criminals, and drug dealers we (the US) create the demand,
and the money to be made is the incentive for the criminals to find a way.

A wall may stop some of those poor people caught in the crossfire between
the cartels and the cops from escaping Mexico, but it will not stop the flow of drugs.

The criminals in Mexico work with the criminals in the United States.

Data show that new immigrants — including illegal immigrants — are actually less likely to commit crime, not more.

You know who used to talk about that? George W. Bush. He used to say that most undocumented workers came north to provide for their families. That it was family values, not crime, that was driving the illegal immigration. It has also been pointed out that the Social Security Administration collects billions of dollars every year from illegal workers who will never collect. This is from 2014:
Unauthorized workers are paying an estimated $13 billion a year in social security taxes and only getting around $1 billion back, according to a senior government statistician.

Stephen Goss, the chief actuary of the Social Security Administration (SSA), told VICE News that an estimated 7 million people are currently working in the US illegally. Of those, he estimates that about 3.1 million are using fake or expired social security numbers, yet also paying automatic payroll taxes. Goss believes that these workers pay an annual net contribution of $12 billion to the Social Security Trust Fund. Link

A big part of the problem is the way the public -- or segments of it -- perceive reality and, as we see here every single day, are incapable of thinking rationally about certain hot button issues. It's truly tragic.

Of course it probably won't pump up Nieto's polling figures (which will suddenly become the best kind of data), proving that it wasn't a trap at all. Remember you heard it here first.

By pussies you mean people who aren't ignorant morons with very obvious personality disorders.

Oh I see, they start off their American Dream as criminals and were supposed to take advice from Bush? Got it.
