They were purchased at retail cost per the original article.
That still doesn't mean that actually happened. I find it hard to believe they paid retail. Not impossible, but hard.

Ann has a sad:
Coulter Goes to War with Trump And It Is Glorious
In her Twitter feed she is already starting her pushback:

Coulter has just found out she has been had.
Why it took her so long is beyond me. You would think a player would recognize game.

"It mostly worries me rhetorically ... I mean, what to do with the illegals already here was never really a big part of it," she said. "We're getting a wall. We're definitely getting a wall. That's the one thing we know about a Trump presidency."
She said Trump still offers more than any of the other Republicans had.
"I don't think it is a change in policy," she said of Trump. "The policy is anyone who's here illegally is here illegally, does not have the right to be here. We'll decide whether it's in our interest to let them stay or not. Perhaps it is in our interest to let some of them stay."
She bought in whole hog. I believe she's already reached bargaining on the Kübler-Ross model.
It’s what happens when you listen to the radio host Alex Jones, who claims that 9/11 and the Oklahoma City bombings were inside jobs. He said the victims of the Sandy Hook massacre were child actors and no one was actually killed there.
Trump didn’t challenge those lies. He went on Jones’ show and said: “Your reputation is amazing. I will not let you down.”
Hillary shot a campaign in Reno just to watch it die. The worst part for Donald is that every Alt Reich lunatic Hillary called out in her speech, Milo, Jared Taylor, et al, is going to be champing at the bit to get every little piece of the attention possible that this speech can give them. They're going to be on every TV program that will have them shouting their praise of Donald and unabashedly embracing the criticism Hillary because being bombastic lunatics is how they promote themselves.
And if trump disavowes them, their message, and their support he pisses off the majority of the rabble that passes for his core support.
Heard one of his surrogates on the news this morning insist that trump was not flip flopping he was just using "different words" to describe his immigration policy. As if words have no specific meaning. It's hilarious watching trump roll out the Obama immigration policy.
The party has attempted to piecemeal a solution, appointing alternate electors in a hastily called meeting Wednesday night, according to Brodkorb. (State GOP officials could not be reached for comment Thursday morning.) That solution defied party protocol, which calls for a 10-day notice for any on-the-fly party convention.
"So they have a problem now," says Brodkorb. "Their only recourse to fix it in this timetable was to appoint alternate presidential electors. But the problem with that is, there's no procedure within the party for that to happen. The only way they could've done was at the state convention."
...
But Brodkorb suggests that by circumventing the process, the Republican Party exposed itself to possible legal challenges that would keep Trump's name off the ballot. Party leaders should "hope and pray" their last-minute appointment doesn't bother any party members.
It looks like Trump may lose Minnesota through literally no fault of his own.
Republican Party of Minnesota forgot to put Donald Trump on Minnesota ballot, scrambling to fix it
The reality is basically a bit more complicated than that. They didn't forget Trump, they forgot their alternate electrical college voters, which has resulted in incomplete paperwork and thus their candidate being left off the ballot.
This could be an embarrassing "Oops, nearly screwed that up!" moment or it could be a ticking time bomb that will lead to legal challenges reminiscent of the "handing chad" days.
Oooops!
It would be hilarious if Trump wasn't on the ballot in Minnesota. I can just see it now. The Minnesota majority Republican House desperately pass an emergency bill to get Trump's name on the ballot and the bill dies there because of the Democratic majority in the Senate and the Democratic Governor say they'll decide in January.
It looks like Trump may lose Minnesota through literally no fault of his own.

Even Evan McMullin got on the ballot in Minnesota, how inept are the Minnesota GOP?
Good thing these guys had the press on the ball to point out their mistake in time for them to fix it.
Imagine if no one had mentioned it until after the deadline!
